Heaney (2-7) took the loss Saturday against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: All three of the runs charged to Heaney came off the bat of Heliot Ramos -- the outfielder opened the scoring with a double in the first inning before adding a two-run homer in the third. The 33-year-old Heaney had earned wins in his previous two appearances (one in relief), delivering 8.1 scoreless innings in that span. Overall, he sports a 4.06 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP and 58:15 K:BB across 62 innings this season. Heaney is currently lined up for a road start next week in Seattle, though he could find himself back in the bullpen with Jon Gray returning from the IL. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

    • Gibson allows three in no-decision Saturday
Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Gibson gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out seven. He was in line for the win before the Rockies scored three runs against the Cardinals bullpen in the seventh inning. The Cardinals bullpen also cost him a win in his last start. Gibson has been consistently good lately as he’s allowed more than three runs in only one of his last 10 starts. The 36-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs on the road next week.

    • Freddy Peralta struggles with command Saturday
Freddy Peralta struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, giving up four runs (three earned) on four hits and five walks in just 3 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out three batters on the day. He had to really labor to get 10 outs in the ballgame, needing 94 pitches (56 strikes) to do so. Most of the damage came during a three-run uprising in the second inning as Carson Kelly and Mark Canha contributed run-scoring singles. Peralta got just five swings and misses in the contest, posting an underwhelming CSW of only 24 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back as he carries a 3.95 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 92/26 K/BB ratio (70 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Reds. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

    • Casey Mize suffers fourth defeat on Saturday
Casey Mize suffered his fourth defeat of the season on Saturday, giving up five runs (three earned) on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings against the Brewers.

Advice: The 27-year-old hurler also issued a pair of walks on the day while recording only one strikeout. The Brewers scratched out a run against him in the opening inning then tacked on two more in the third on a sacrifice fly and an RBI ground out. He then exited with two men on and one out in the fifth inning — and both inherited runners ultimately came around to score. Mize impossibly got just one swing and miss on 97 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 26 percent. Now 1-4 on the season, he’ll tote a 4.73 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 39/18 K/BB ratio (59 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Astros in Houston. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

    • Kevin Gausman whiffs ten in complete game shutout
Kevin Gausman struck out ten in a complete-game shutout of the Athletics on Saturday for the win.

Advice: Gausman was outstanding on Saturday, shutting out the A’s in a complete game, his first of his 12-year career. He scattered five hits and walked one batter while striking out ten on 17 whiffs. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 69/16 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings into a start against the Guardians in Toronto on Friday. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago

    • Luis Medina gives up six runs in loss to Blue Jays
Luis Medina surrendered six runs with one strikeout over 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Medina struggled to find the zone in the opening frame, walking the bases loaded before Danny Jansen brought a run in on a sacrifice fly. He was able to escape the inning with just the one run scored and tossed three more scoreless innings until he unraveled in the fifth. Kevin Kiermaier led off with a solo homer before three doubles, a walk, and a base hit made it six runs on Medina. He’d be pulled with two outs in the inning, ending his day with a 5.23 ERA,, 1.35 WHIP, and a 7/7 K/BB ratio across 10 1/3 innings. He’s currently in line for a matchup against the Twins in Minnesota on Thursday. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

    • Bradley strikes out seven in loss Saturday
Taj Bradley allowed one run in five innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Bradley gave up three hits, walked one and struck out seven. It was a strong performance from Bradley, but the Rays were shutout so he had no chance of getting the win. He’s completed six innings in only two of his six starts. While Bradley has a 5.17 ERA on the season, his xFIP is much lower at 3.46. He has 39 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings. The 23-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs at home next week.

    • Bradish dominates the Rays for six innings
Kyle Bradish threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Orioles’ 5-0 victory over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Bradish gave up one hit, walked none and struck out nine. He was outstanding as he bounced back from a rough last start. Bradish recorded 14 whiffs and had a 34 percent CSW. He’s now won two of his last three starts. If Bradish can stay healthy for the rest of the year, he’ll be one of the best pitchers in fantasy. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Braves at home next week. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Strikes out season-high eight
Marsh (5-3) got the win vs the Mariners on Saturday. He went five innings, giving up four runs on seven hits while striking out eight.

Advice: Marsh gave up a leadoff homer to J.P. Crawford but would settle in nicely, as he retired the next 13 batters in order. He struck out eight of those 13 hitters, which is a new season high and three away from his career high. Marsh ran into trouble in the fifth and wound up allowing four runs before being pulled, his third straight outing in which he's given up at least four earned runs. His ERA has gone from 2.72 to 4.05 over his last three starts, but he remains a key piece of the Royals' revitalized rotation this season. Rotowire.com 43 minutes ago
