    • Tanner Houck whiffs nine in win over White Sox
Tanner Houck recorded nine strikeouts and yielded two runs over seven innings on Thursday in a win over the White Sox.

Advice: Houck delivered a dominant performance at Guaranteed Rate Field, carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning before finally surrendering a leadoff single to Lenyn Sosa and a run-scoring double to Zach DeLoach later in the frame to break up the potential shutout. He got 14 runs of support on 24 hits from Boston’s lineup to allow him to cruise to an easy victory. The 27-year-old righty has emerged as a reliable fantasy contributor this season, allowing three runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts so far. He’ll bring a stellar 1.91 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 84/15 K/BB ratio across 85 innings (13 starts) into a home outing on Wednesday against the Phillies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:52 pm
    • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki took Hunter Greene deep in the third inning for his seventh home run of the season. The outfielder now has three long balls over his last seven games, and he's batting a .308 during that span. Suzuki's numbers don't always jump off the page with a .781 OPS, but he's a fairly consistent contributor who gets plenty of playing time, which allows him to make an impact in most fantasy formats. • Ozuna blasts 18th home run in win Thursday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: Ozuna leads the National League with 18 home runs and 55 RBI. He continues to carry the Braves offense and fantasy teams alike this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:04 pm

    • Rebounds for 12th save
McArthur delivered a perfect ninth inning Thursday to earn the save in a 4-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: It was an encouraging outing from McArthur, who allowed four runs without recording an out in his last save opportunity. However, he's now recorded back-to-back hitless innings in his subsequent two appearances. Overall, McArthur is 12-for-16 in save chances with a 4.91 ERA and 1.36 WHIP despite an impressive 23:3 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:35 pm
    • Bobby Witt Jr. steals two bags in win over CLE
Bobby Witt Jr. reached twice while stealing two bases in a 4-3 win for the Royals over the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Witt Jr. is now up to 19 thefts on the year. The speedy superstar is playing at an MVP level with a .317/.371/.560 slash, and has picked up hits in each game thus far in June. If 2025 drafts were held now — and they are decidedly not — it’d be hard to argue that he wouldn’t be the first pick in the overwhelming majority of leagues. Scary to think he’s still only 23, too. • James McArthur picks up save against Guardians
James McArthur was credited with a save Thursday while firing a scoreless ninth against the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: McArthur didn’t allow a hit, didn’t strike anyone out and didn’t issue a walk. It’s tough to do any of those things when you only throw 10 pitches, and seven of those went for strikes. McArthur has a couple of hiccups that have contributed to his 4.91 ERA, but he has been able to provide 12 saves to go with it. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:12 pm
    • Cowser starts in CF over Mullins again for Orioles
Colton Cowser will start in center field and bat ninth for the Orioles on Thursday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: With left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for the Blue Jays, the Orioles have opted to bench Cedric Mullins and let Cowser start in center field. It’s now the fourth time in the last six games that Cowser has started in center field, and the fact that both Cowser and Mullins hit left-handed suggests that Baltimore might have more confidence in the rookie right now. Austin Hays is also starting in left field for the fourth time in the last five games, including three games against right-handed pitchers. This has the makings of Cedric Mullins being moved to more of a bench role amidst his struggles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 am

    • Stuffs stat sheet Wednesday
Smith went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two total RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-1 victory against the Tigers.

Advice: Smith gave the Rangers a 2-0 lead with his solo shot to right field in the third inning and added an RBI single in the sixth. For good measure, the third baseman sweetened his stat line with a stolen base following a first-inning walk. Smith continues to shine at the hot corner for Texas, getting at least one hit in eight of his past nine games and batting .361 (13-for-36) with two homers, three doubles, four RBI, seven runs and two steals over that span. • Gets on base six times
Ramos went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run, four walks and a second run scored in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Getting on base six times will do wonders for the slash line, and Ramos' is at .304/.407/.511 after Wednesday's stellar performance. He has multiple hits in three of his last four contests and multiple walks in each of the last two games. The outfielder didn't have much of a track record in the majors over the last two years, but he's made the most of his opportunity in 2024 with five homers, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base through 108 plate appearances. Ramos has earned a starting role in the corner outfield, effectively bumping Mike Yastrzemski over to center field to platoon with Austin Slater. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:49 pm
