• Goes deep, swipes bag
Morel went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer, a walk and a steal in Monday's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Morel put the Cubs on the board with his two-run shot in the sixth inning after snagging a steal earlier in the contest. He has five hits over his last five games and four of them have left the yard. The 24-year-old is slashing .220/.315/.449 with 12 extra-base hits (eight home runs), four stolen bases and 23 RBI through 35 games this season. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

  • Maikel Garcia drives in two in win against MIL
Maikel Garcia went 1-for-2 with a two-run RBI single to help lift the Royals to a 3-2 win versus the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: It wasn’t pretty, but it got the job done. Garcia got great contact on a sinker off Elvis Peguero in the sixth inning that got in between shortstop and second base. According to Statcast, the hit probability was just 41%, but with an exit velocity of 106.5 MPH, Garcia definitely earned the hit. The 24-year-old is slashing .236/.292/.671 with four homers and 22 RBI this season. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago

  • Sharp in return
Steele allowed three hits and a walk over 4.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out two during the loss to San Diego.

Advice: Steele made his first start since straining his hamstring during his Opening Day outing. He showed no signs of rust but was clearly on a limit as he threw only 68 pitches. He gave up one extra-base hit but otherwise kept San Diego's bats quiet. Steele has given up one run through 9.1 innings in two starts this season. The 28-year-old should be able to pitch deeper in his next outing, which is lined up to be in Pittsburgh this weekend. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

  • Headed to Triple-A
The Tigers informed Meadows after Monday's game against the Guardians that he'll be optioned to Triple-A Toledo, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Advice: Meadows has seen only three at-bats in May after going 6-for-60 over 25 games in April, and Detroit has finally seen enough. Ryan Vilade is expected to be recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

  • Report: Parker Meadows heading to AAA on Tuesday
Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports that the Tigers are expected to option Parker Meadows to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

Advice: Meadows, 24, picked up just seven hits in 73 at-bats while with the Tigers with 32 strikeouts in that timeframe. The outfielder will get work in Triple-A with Ryan Vilade expected to receive a promotion in the corresponding transaction. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Cole Ragans fans eight versus Brewers Monday
Cole Ragans yielded two earned runs on two hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: It was another stellar outing from Ragans, who now has allowed just four earned runs in his past three starts. The only damage against him came off a Gary Sanchez two-run home run. The 26-year-old southpaw has recorded at least eight punch outs in back-to-back games. After allowing seven earned runs to Baltimore on April 20, Ragans has looked sharp and is a must-start for fantasy managers throughout the season. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Converts five-out save
Suarez struck out three batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a save over the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Suarez was called into a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the eighth inning and quickly steamrolled the Cubs in order to finish off the game. He matched his longest outing of the year while firing 14 of 20 pitches for strikes. Suarez has been nearly perfect this season; he's 1-0 with a 0.59 ERA while converting each of his 11 save chances. The 33-year-old is currently riding a 13-inning scoreless streak. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago
  • Drives in three runs
Campusano went 2-for-4 with a three-run double in Monday's win over the Cubs.

Advice: Campusano capped off a six-run sixth inning for the Padres with his bases-clearing double. It would end up being the deciding factor in the victory. While he has just five hits over his last seven games, three of them went for extra bases, resulting in eight RBI over that span. Campusano is now slashing .274/.311/.407 with 11 extra-base knocks through 119 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago
  • Bryse Wilson throws six scoreless innings in no-decision
Bryse Wilson didn’t allow a run and stuck out six batters in six innings of work against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Impressive. Prior to April 17, Wilson hadn’t made a start in the majors since September 2022. Since then, the 26-year-old has made four starts for Milwaukee and has allowed three total runs in those 20 innings. As a reliever? He’s allowed five earned runs across 10 innings this season. The move seems to be the right one for Milwaukee, however they’ll need to give him some run support if he’s to pick up some wins. Wilson now has a 1.35 ERA, 0.95 WHIP with a 10/1 K/BB ratio as a starter this season. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago
