• Goes deep in easy win
McKinstry went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Sunday's 11-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: McKinstry was one of four Detroit players to go deep and perhaps the most surprising one, as this was just his second of the season across 51 games. The utility player is batting only .185, and while he's seeing more playing time right now with Javier Baez (back) on the injured list, McKinstry may be better suited to a reserve role due to his limited offensive abilities. • Big effort in rout
Keith went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, three total runs scored and three RBI in Sunday's 11-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Keith got the scoring started with a two-run home run, his fourth of the season, in the first inning and proceeded to record his third four-hit effort of the year. The youngster is riding a five-game hitting streak and is batting .258 this month. Keith is now batting .243 overall and is trending in the right direction after a slow start to his rookie campaign. • Expected to platoon at first base
Davis is expected to be used in a platoon at first base with the Yankees, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Davis was traded to New York on Sunday after being designated for assignment by the Athletics earlier in the week. Manager Aaron Boone said that Davis will be used in a timeshare at first base with Ben Rice while Anthony Rizzo (arm) is unavailable, entering the lineup when the Yankees face left-handers. The 31-year-old has produced a .265 average with a .795 OPS over 37 plate appearances against southpaws this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:33 pm

  • Josh Smith homers in win
Josh Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Smith took Sam Long deep 383 feet at 102.2 mph for his seventh home run on the season. The 26-year-old has been brilliant filling in for Josh Jung, hitting .303/.391/.478 on the year. Considering his ability to play all over the field, he should be able to fight for consistent playing time even when Jung returns. Provided he keeps hitting like this. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:01 pm

  • Bregman has four hits, two 2Bs in win
Alex Bregman went 4-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in an 8-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Bregman had two doubles and two singles on the day but also came away with zero RBI. Still, the consistent contact is nice to see, and the veteran is now 28-for-77 in 19 games in June for a .364 batting average. That’ll most certainly play considering he’s on pace for yet another 20-plus home run season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:51 pm
  • Jordan Westburg homers (again) in loss
Jordan Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Just like on Saturday, Westburg homered but the Orioles offense couldn’t do much else. Westburg now has 13 home runs and 45 RBI so far on the season; however, he did also strike out twice on Sunday and his batting average is down to .277 on the season. Westburg swings often so it doesn’t always matter that he swings and misses a lot, but he will have stretches where those whiffs drag the batting average down a bit. Even with that said, he should remain in all fantasy lineups. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:42 pm

  • Yandy Díaz homers in Rays’ victory over Pirates
Yandy Díaz went 3-for-4 and homered off Paul Skenes as the Rays topped the Pirates 3-1 on Sunday.

Advice: Díaz’s leadoff homer in the first was the Rays’ only run until they got two off Colin Holderman in the eighth. It was Díaz’s sixth homer of the year. He’s batting .366 during his current 16-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm

  • Returned to Triple-A
Peraza was optioned back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Sunday's 3-1 loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Peraza was called up to replace Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) on the major-league roster after Stanton was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday, but Peraza failed to appear in the team's contest against Atlanta before being returned to Triple-A. With Stanton expected to miss approximately four weeks with a left hamstring strain, it's possible that Peraza makes multiple trips between the big leagues and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over that time frame. • Yankees option Oswald Peraza back to Triple-A
Yankees optioned INF Oswald Peraza to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: The 24-year-old infielder was brought up to provide depth on the Yankees’ bench on Sunday, but he’ll head right back to Triple-A with J.D. Davis expected to join the team on Monday. Peraza did not appear in Sunday’s game and has not gotten into a game with the Yankees so far this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
