    Assad (4-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over 4.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Mets.

    Advice: Assad has failed to complete five innings in four of his last nine starts. The Mets did most of their damage in the third inning, as Francisco Lindor and Brandon Nimmo hit back-to-back home runs to account for three of the four runs on Assad's line. The right-hander is now at a 3.04 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 79:33 K:BB through 83 innings across 16 starts this year. He's projected for a road game in Milwaukee in his next start.   • Pitches two frames versus Cleveland
    Kikuchi (4-7) picked up a loss after he pitched two innings, giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out three batters in Sunday's 6-5 defeat to Cleveland.

    Advice: Kikuchi was once again ineffective on the mound Sunday, giving up one run in the first inning before the game went into a rain delay after he allowed another run to score and loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the third. Zach Pop replaced Kikuchi on the mound following the delay, allowing two of the inherited runners to score. Kikuchi has been in quite the rut for a while now, allowing 20 earned runs over 25.1 innings in his last six outings. The rough stretch has seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 to 4.00 on the year over 83.1 innings in 16 starts.     Severino (5-2) allowed three hits and struck out 10 without walking a batter over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

    Advice: Severino was dealing, making a great rebound after getting touched up for six runs versus the Rangers in his last start. He's posted a quality start in four of his last six outings, allowing 14 runs (13 earned) with a 27:8 K:BB across 38.2 innings in that span. The right-hander is at a 3.29 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 71:31 K:BB through 90.1 innings across 15 starts, with Sunday's start being the fourth time he's avoided issuing a walk this season.     Miller (6-6) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk over four innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Marlins.

    Advice: Miami jumped on Miller early with a four-run first inning. He gave up another run in the second before Jesus Sanchez scored the Marlins' final run with a solo shot in the third. Miller has allowed 15 earned runs in five starts this month, resulting in a 4.88 ERA. Two of those outings have accounted for 13 of the runs.     McKenzie tossed three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

    Advice: McKenzie was challenged early versus Toronto, giving up a two-run home run to Vladimir Guerrero in the top of the first inning. He later gave up a leadoff homer to Spencer Horwitz in the third, which was ultimately his final inning on the mound. McKenzie failed to pitch past the third inning for the second consecutive start Sunday, throwing just 41 of his 74 total pitches for strikes, while the four walks matched his total from his loss Tuesday versus Seattle.     Advice: King had given up a total of five runs across his previous five outings, but he had just one win in that span despite a 34:9 K:BB over 26.2 innings. He wasn't as good Sunday, as the Brewers pieced together a two-out rally in the second inning that accounted for four of the five runs on his line. King is now at a 3.75 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and 109:38 K:BB through 93.2 innings over 17 appearances (16 starts) this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at Boston.     Advice: Myers is undefeated in June, going 4-0 with just two runs allowed over 25.1 innings across four starts. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB over 52 innings through 11 appearances (10 starts) this season. Sunday was the first time since May 31 that he didn't pitch past the fifth inning -- he exited with 78 pitches (56 strikes). He's tentatively lined up to make his next start at home versus the Cubs.     Olson (2-8) earned the win after he pitched 6.1 innings, surrendering two runs on four hits while striking out three batters in Sunday's 11-2 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Olson tossed six scoreless frames before running into some trouble in the top of the seventh, ultimately exiting the game with one out and runners on second and third. Both runs came around to score on a two-out single by Nicky Lopez off reliever Will Vest. Nonetheless, Olson has now recorded back-to-back quality starts after a three-start stretch during which he gave up 17 earned runs over 14.2 innings to open June.   • Luis Severino dominates in victory over Cubs
    Luis Severino delivered a dominant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Cubs, piling up 10 strikeouts over six innings of shutout baseball.

    Advice: The right-hander allowed just three hits on the night — all of them singles — and didn’t walk a batter. Severino generated 14 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the ballgame — seven of those on his heater which averaged 96.8 mph in the contest — while posting a CSW of 28 percent.
