• Opens scoring Wednesday
Judge went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Judge saw an eight-game hitting streak snapped Tuesday, but he's reached base in 10 straight contests. During the on-base streak, he's gone 15-for-34 (.441) with five homers, nine RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and an 11:9 BB:K. The slugger has been strong at the plate all year, slashing .268/.405/.585 with 14 long balls, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 16 doubles and two stolen bases over 51 contests. Judge's 24.7 percent strikeout rate is the lowest mark of his career, which should allow him to continue to succeed as long as he keeps it in check. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

  • LaMonte Wade Jr. reaches six times in victory
LaMonte Wade Jr. had an impressive night at the dish in Wednesday’s victory over the Pirates, going 3-for-3 with three singles, three walks, a pair of runs scored and an RBI.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder led off the sixth inning with a single and rode home on Matt Chapman’s two-run blast. He then delivered the biggest hit of the game, smacking a game-tying two-out RBI single off of Colin Holderman in the ninth inning. With his three-hit attack, Wade is now hitting .336/.484/.431 with a pair of homers, 16 RBI and a stolen base. Rotoworld Today, 7:06 pm

  • Michael King posts quality start in win over Reds
Michael King logged a quality start in Wednesday’s victory over the Reds, allowing three runs on three hits over his 6 2/3 frames.

Advice: King struck out six batters on the night while issuing a pair of walks. The inconsistent right-hander has made a habit of winning in tough spots this year, and against the Reds in Cincinnati would certainly qualify. He served up a solo homer to Jeimer Candelario in the opening inning, then gave up a two-out, two-run double to Tyler Stephenson in the six. King generated 12 swings and misses on 92 pitches on the night — eight of those on his changeup — while posting a CSW of 30 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 4.33 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 67/28 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Monday’s matchup against the Marlins. Rotoworld Today, 5:54 pm

  • Freddy Peralta handed tough-luck loss
Freddy Peralta fired seven one-run innings on Wednesday striking out seven and walking one in a loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Peralta’s only mistake was a 3-1 fastball to Jazz Chisholm in the first inning that wound up in the seats. Even in that at-bat Peralta missed some borderline pitches to fall behind. Still, he was fantastic Wednesday after scuffling to a 6.19 ERA May. He likely has better times ahead while his strikeout rate stays high and walk rate stays manageable. Rotoworld Today, 5:51 pm
  • Homer, double in win
Kepler went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Kepler led off the second inning with a solo shot off Jake Irvin, giving the Twins an early lead, before adding a double in the ninth and scoring what turned out to be a crucial insurance run on a Ryan Jeffers base hit. Kepler had cooled off a bit after a fast start to the year -- he came into Wednesday stuck in a 3-for-16 slump. The 31-year-old outfielder is still slashing an impressive .311/.368/.544 with four homers, 18 RBI and 16 runs scored across 115 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:28 pm

  • Max Kepler homers, doubles to lead Twins
Max Kepler homered and doubled Wednesday as the Twins edged the Nationals 3-2.

Advice: After a 12-3 Nationals win and a 10-0 Twins rout, the two teams actually managed to play a close one in the finale. Kepler homered in the second and doubled and came around to score in the ninth. He’s hit .345/.410/.618 in 17 games this month. Rotoworld Today, 1:36 pm

  • Jhoan Durán gives up homer before earning save
Jhoan Durán picked up his fourth save Wednesday despite giving up a homer in the ninth against the Nationals.

Advice: The homer from Joey Meneses led off the ninth in a two-run game. The next batter singled, at which point Dave Martinez put in speedy Rule 5 pick Nasim Nuñez to run. Martinez, though, just couldn’t help himself and still gave away an out to have Ildemaro Vargas bunt Nuñez over when Nuñez most likely could have stolen the base on his own. Apparently, he was really expecting Joey Gallo to deliver a game-tying single. Durán retired the next two batters to end the game. Rotoworld Today, 1:36 pm

  • Back in lineup Wednesday
Garcia (forearm) will serve as the Rangers' designated hitter and cleanup batter in Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: The Rangers held Garcia out of the lineup for the past two games while he contended with right forearm discomfort, but he's made enough improvement to enter the starting nine Wednesday, albeit in a non-defensive role. Provided the injury doesn't affect his throwing for too much longer, Garcia should be ready to return to his usual spot in right field in the coming days. Rotowire.com Today, 1:28 pm
  • Adolis Garcia (forearm) returns to Rangers’ lineup
Adolis Garcia (forearm) returned to the Rangers’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s showdown against the Phillies.

Advice: After missing a pair of games due to a forearm issue, the 31-year-old slugger is right back in there for the Rangers on Wednesday evening. He has been a force in the middle of the lineup once again this season — slashing .251/.297/.491 with 11 homers, 35 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 1:12 pm
