      Andy Pages went 4-for-5 with the game-winning single in the 11th inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over Atlanta on Friday.

      Advice: Pages put an end to that chapter, with the chapter being an 11-inning affair in this case. The rookie outfielder has his first ever four-hit game, and one of those was a walk-off single in the 11th off Jesse Chavez.       Advice: Cronenworth smacked a 398-foot home run off Slade Cecconi in the fourth inning to give him his third homer in five games. The Padres first baseman also extended his hit streak to seven games, batting .370 (10-for-27) during that time.       Jake Cronenworth went 3-for-5 with a homer and two doubles in a victory over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Cronenworth swatted one of three homers for the Padres on Friday, with his being a solo shot off Slade Cecconi. Cronenworth has shown solid power to begin the 2024 season, as he’s up to six homers, nine doubles and a .516 slugging percentage through 122 at-bats. It’s certainly understandable to be skeptical considering that the 30-year-old hasn’t slugged above .400 over the last two seasons, but the results are awfully promising right now.       Adam gave up a run on two hits and struck out one in the ninth inning Friday to record his second save of the season in a 10-8 win over the Mets.

      Advice: The right-hander has collected saves in back-to-back appearances, but he's looked a bit shaky both times. Adam served up a solo shot to Brett Baty on Friday before giving up a two-out double to Brandon Nimmo that brought the tying run to the plate. Adam's 1.80 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB through 15 innings on the season remain impressive, but with Pete Fairbanks (forearm) set to begin a rehab assignment next week, he should return to setup duties before long.       Jordan Hicks gave up four runs — two earned — and walked four in four innings Friday in a loss to the Phillies.

      Advice: Improved control has been a big key for Hicks in his successful run in the Giants rotation, but this is the second time in his last three starts that he’s walked four batters, giving him14 walks in 38 innings for the year.       Hicks (2-1) took the loss Friday against the Phillies, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks over four innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: The Phillies scored three times off Hicks in the third inning before tacking on another run in the fourth, handing the right-hander his first loss of the year. While the four runs against Hicks were a season high, he's still yet to allow more than two earned runs through seven starts. Hicks still sports a stellar 1.89 ERA with a 1.03 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 38 innings. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Colorado.       Jason Adam picked up his second save of the season on Friday night, despite allowing a run in the ninth inning against the Mets.

      Advice: The 32-year-old right-hander came on with a three-run lead to protect, but things got a bit tighter as he surrendered a one-out solo homer to Brett Baty. He also allowed a two-out double to Brandon Nimmo that brought the tying run to the plate, but was able to retire Starling Marte on strikes to end it. He has now converted two of his first three save chances while filling in for the injured Pete Fairbanks.     • Jacob Young pulled due to apparent injury Friday
      Jacob Young was pulled from Friday’s showdown against the Blue Jays in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: No word yet on what happened to the 24-year-old speedster, but he was replaced by Jesse Winker when the Nationals took the field to start the fifth inning.
