• Blasts home run, swipes bag
Contreras went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Contreras had a monster game against the Nationals, contributing in all facets and extended a hitting streak to six games in Sunday's win. He clubbed his ninth home run of the season and his third in his last six games. The veteran had his first three RBI game of the season and picked up his third stolen base in the process. He's been playing well since returning from the IL and is hitting .299/.399/.529 for the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 5:12 pm
  • Grayson Rodriguez strikes out eight in beating A’s
Grayson Rodriguez fanned eight while allowing three runs over six innings as the Orioles topped the A’s 6-3 on Sunday.

Advice: Rodriguez moved into a tie for the major league lead in wins, but since his 3.52 ERA isn’t especially great, he wasn’t picked for the All-Star Game today. He’ll make his final start before the break Saturday against the Yankees. Rotoworld Today, 4:22 pm
  • Has three hits, two RBI in win
Lindor went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: Lindor delivered a clutch hit off Aroldis Chapman with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth to give his team the win on Sunday. Lindor continues his resurgence over the last two months, hitting .277/.335/.492 with 10 homers, 34 RBI and 12 stolen bases over his last 58 games. After a forgetful April, the four-time All-Star has 22 multi-hit games since the beginning of May, which is tied for the fifth most in MLB in that span. Rotowire.com Today, 2:56 pm
  • Francisco Lindor puts Mets ahead in ninth inning
Francisco Lindor went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored, and a walk in the Mets’ dramatic 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Lindor had another fantastic game. His two-run single in the ninth inning off of Aroldis Chapman put the Mets ahead after just falling behind in the eighth inning. He continues to stack games like this one and his full-season slash line has ticked up to .250/.316/.447 with 26 doubles, 15 homers, and 16 stolen bases after a miserable start to the season. He is as steady and reliable as they come. Rotoworld Today, 2:23 pm
  • Cody Bellinger goes 0-for-4 in second straight
Cody Bellinger went 0-for-4 for a second straight game Sunday against the Angels.

Advice: Bellinger’s batting average has been holding steady, but he has just one homer and six doubles since the beginning of June. In his first 43 games this season, he hit .267/.332/.471 with 26 RBI. In his last 34 games, he’s come in at .265/.319/.333 with 11 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 2:12 pm

  • Willson Contreras smacks another home run in win
Willson Contreras went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in the Cardinals’ 8-3 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Contreras has picked up right where he left off since returning from the IL. His home run was scorched at 108.9 MPH and even his single was sizzled at 105.4 MPH. Few players, let alone catchers, hit the ball as hard and as consistently as Contreras. He’s on pace to put together a huge second half. Rotoworld Today, 1:49 pm
  • Flaherty (back) scheduled to start Thursday
Jack Flaherty (back) is scheduled to start Thursday’s game against the Guardians.

Advice: Flaherty missed Wednesday’s scheduled start against the Twins because of his back issue. The right-handed hurler will need to avoid setbacks in order to make that next start and Detroit will take the necessary precautions, but it’s obviously a good sign that the 28-year-old is penciled in for the outing. • Rejoining rotation Thursday
The Tigers list Flaherty (back) as their scheduled starter for Thursday's game against the Guardians in Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Advice: Flaherty avoided a stint on the injured list when a back issue reared its head coming out of his June 27 start versus the Angels, but he'll end up having missed nearly two weeks while waiting for two pain-killing injections to provide some relief. The Tigers seem confident that the extended rest will help resolve Flaherty's back problems, which also resulted in him missing a turn through the rotation in the first half of June. Back issues aside, Flaherty has been even better than the Tigers could have hoped when they signed him to a one-year, $14 million deal this winter. Over his 15 starts, Flaherty has gone 5-5 with a 3.24 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 115:14 K:BB in 89 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 12:47 pm
  • Remaining on bench Sunday
Marte (back) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday's contest due to lower-back tightness and will sit Sunday for the second consecutive game. The 30-year-old was reportedly available off the bench Saturday but didn't see the field, so he'll presumably be available again Sunday. Kevin Newman is manning the keystone in place of Marte.
