    • Homers twice in win
Devers went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs, a walk, three total RBI and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 9-0 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Devers opened the scoring with an opposite-field solo shot off Spencer Schwellenbach in the second inning before extending the Red Sox lead to 8-0 with a two-run blast off left-hander Ray Kerr in the seventh. The 27-year-old Devers is now 7-for-19 (.368) with three homers and six RBI in his last five contests. He's slashing .288/.380/.576 with 13 homers, 32 RBI and 34 runs scored across 221 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:19 pm
    • Rafael Devers homers twice in rout
Rafael Devers homered twice, drove in three runs and walked Wednesday in the rout of the Braves.

Advice: Devers took advantage of the Green Monster twice today, hitting his homers 358 and 361 feet to the opposite field. He’s 6-for-15 with three homers and six RBI in four games to begin June, and he’s tied for eighth in the AL with 13 homers overall. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:25 pm
    • Blake Snell’s MRI reveals mild groin strain
An MRI showed only a mild groin strain for Blake Snell, according to Giants manager Bob Melvin.

Advice: It sounds like this will be a shorter absence than the month-long one he had just returned from. He will miss at least two starts after being placed on the injured list Monday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 11:25 am

    • MRI shows mild groin strain
Snell was diagnosed Wednesday with a mild left groin strain following an MRI, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: The Giants expect to have a better idea Thursday as to a potential timetable for Snell to return to the mound, but the initial imaging seems to have revealed relatively good news. Snell's tenure with the Giants has gotten off to a rocky start, as he's posted a 9.51 ERA in five starts and has made a pair of trips to the injured list. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:22 am

    • Next start pushed back
Crawford's next scheduled start will be pushed back to early next week against the Phillies, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Crawford's next turn comes up Sunday versus the White Sox, but the Red Sox want to give him some extra rest given his recent struggles (he's allowed four or more earned runs in four of his last five starts). Boston is expected to go with a bullpen game Sunday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:55 am

    • In line to start Saturday
Suarez (hand) is in line to start Saturday versus the Mets in London after playing catch again Wednesday, Paul Casella of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Suarez had been slated to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, but he instead played catch for the second straight day. The change of plans doesn't appear to have resulted in him being pushed back in the Phillies' pitching schedule, as the southpaw remains on track to make his next start this weekend. Suarez exited his most recent outing Saturday against the Cardinals after being hit on the left hand by a comebacker. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:39 am
    • Mashes homer No. 10
De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: He got the Marlins on the board with a solo shot off Ryan Pepiot in the first inning before adding an RBI fielder's choice in the seventh. De La Cruz snapped a 14-game power drought with the performance, a stretch in which he'd hit just .226 (12-for-53) with one RBI. On the season, the 27-year-old is slashing .248/.304/.412 with 10 homers, 27 RBI and 28 runs in 60 contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:23 am

    • Receiving rare day off
Doyle is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Doyle will exit the starting nine for the first time since May 19 and just the third time all season, opening up center field for Jake Cave. The Rockies are likely just giving Doyle a breather for a day game after a night game while he's in the midst of a minor slump at the plate. Over his last five starts, Doyle has gone 3-for-15 with four strikeouts against two walks. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:14 am
    • Red Sox may push back Kutter Crawford’s start
The Red Sox are looking at going with a bullpen game on Sunday and pushing Kutter Crawford’s next start back to Tuesday.

Advice: Bad news for those hoping Crawford would bounce back against the White Sox. He’ll instead face the Phillies if the Red Sox follow through on this, though at least he’d be doing so on six days’ rest instead of four. The Red Sox are off Monday, which makes the bullpen game a little more feasible. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:45 am
