    • Draws start in left field
Kjerstad will start in left field and bat seventh in Wednesday's contest against the Guardians.

Advice: The left-handed-hitting Kjerstad sat out Tuesday's game versus a southpaw, but he's now started both contests against right-handers since being called up from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday. Kjerstad had two hits -- including a double -- in Monday's 3-2 loss. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:44 pm
    • Brandon Marsh homers, plates four to lead Phillies
Brandon Marsh went 4-for-4 with a homer and four RBI on Wednesday afternoon, leading the Phillies to a 6-2 victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: Marsh tagged Tigers’ rookie right-hander Keider Montero for a 359-foot (100.6 mph EV) two-run shot in the fourth inning that gave the Phillies a 3-1 lead they would never relinquish. He added on a two-run single in the fifth inning that made it 5-1 as well but was then gunned down attempting to steal second base. With his four-hit attack, the 26-year-old outfielder is now hitting .269/.345/.425 with seven homers, 31 RBI and eight stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:42 pm
    • Jake Fraley scratched with leg contusion
Jake Fraley was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup because of a lower leg contusion.

Advice: We assume that makes him day-to-day. Levi Jordan has replaced him in the Reds outfield for the game against the Pirates. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:37 am

    • Could play rehab games this weekend
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Wednesday that Nootbaar (oblique) could begin a rehab assignment as soon as this weekend, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Nootbaar hit in the batting cage Monday and then took on-field batting practice Tuesday for the first time since suffering a strained left oblique in late May. It's not clear how many rehab games he might require, but a return from the 10-day injured list in early July appears doable. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:32 am

    • Scratched with leg contusion
The Reds scratched Fraley from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates due to a right lower leg contusion.

Advice: Per Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer, the injury likely stems from Fraley fouling a ball off the leg a few days ago. Levi Jordan was a late addition to the Cincinnati lineup and will start in left field while Fraley gets at least one day off to recover from the injury. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:15 am

    • LaMonte Wade Jr. (hamstring) hitless in rehab game
LaMonte Wade Jr. went 0-for-3 in his second appearance for Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.

Advice: Wade, coming back from a hamstring strain, is expected to play for the River Cats again today before the Giants decided whether to activate him from the injured list. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:02 am

    • Mashes sixth homer
Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: The 34-year-old outfielder capped a seven-run eruption for the Blue Jays in the third inning when he drove a Brayan Bello slider into the right-center field bullpen at Fenway Park. Springer is having the worst season of his career by a wide margin -- Tuesday's long ball snapped a 17-game homer drought, and it highlighted his first multi-hit performance since June 3. Through 300 plate appearances in 2024, Springer has managed a .196/.283/.298 slash line with six homers, eight steals, 17 RBI and 32 runs. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:55 am
    • Third homer of June
Benintendi went 1-for-3 with two walks and a two-run home run Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Benintendi helped the White Sox get off to a hot start, as he delivered his home run in the first inning. He has been limited to 11 games in June due to an Achilles injury, but Benintendi has enjoyed a productive month by homering three times, driving in five and scoring five runs while also maintaining a .286 batting average. Despite the productive stretch, he still has just a .249 wOBA and 58 wRC+ across 233 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:23 pm
    • Benintendi homers as White Sox fall to Dodgers
Andrew Benintendi went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Dodgers

Advice: Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first after a leadoff homer by Shohei Ohtani, Benintendi put the White Sox on top when he smacked a two-run homer to deep right field to score Tommy Pham and give the White Sox a 2-1 lead. That lead didn’t prove to be enough, as the Dodgers bounced back courtesy of a two-run homer by Freddie Freeman and an RBI single by Ohtani. Benintendi is batting just .203 on the season with six home runs and 22 RBI. He’s well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:38 pm
