    • Heading to bench Sunday
Miranda is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Willi Castro will get the nod at third base Sunday, but Miranda had manned the hot corner each of the past five games while going 5-for-18 with two doubles and a walk. Until Byron Buxton (knee) returns from the injured list, Castro should see most of his starts in the outfield, creating an opening for Miranda to carve out at least semi-regular playing time at third base. • Back on bench Sunday
Alexander is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: The right-handed-hitting Alexander started each of the past three games, but he appears to be viewed as a short-side platoon player, with two of those three starts coming against left-handed pitching. He'll give way to Kevin Newman at shortstop Sunday while the Orioles bring right-hander Dean Kremer to the hill. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

    • Starts in left field
Jankowski started in left field and went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 8-3 loss to Colorado.

Advice: Jankowski stepped into the lineup for Evan Carter, who developed lower-back stiffness Saturday. Carter, who has been the primary left fielder against right-handers, joined Wyatt Langford (hamstring, IL) as unavailable outfielders. If Carter's absence is extended, Jankowski and Ezequiel Duran are in the mix for starts in left field. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago
    • Another three-hit performance
Pillar went 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's win over Kansas City.

Advice: Pillar led off the bottom of the second with a triple before coming around to score on a three-run shot from Jo Adell as the Angels took a 3-1 lead. The recently-acquired outfielder would also add two RBI singles on the night in addition to swiping his third bag of the season. Pillar has now tallied three hits in two of his last four contests, posting nine RBI and five runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago
    • Starting again Sunday
Urena will start Sunday's game against the Rockies at Coors Field.

Advice: He'll make his second straight turn through the rotation after picking up a win in Tuesday's 15-8 victory over the Athletics while holding Oakland to two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks over five innings. The Rangers should have starting roles available for both Urena and Jack Leiter until the team gets one of Nathan Eovaldi (groin), Max Scherzer (back) or Dane Dunning (shoulder) back from the injured list. • Draws starting nod Sunday
Blach is slated to start Sunday's game against the Rangers at Coors Field.

Advice: Blach will pick up his second start of the season as he joins the rotation as a replacement for Peter Lambert, who was recently moved to the bullpen. The veteran southpaw had worked in relief in both of his past two appearances for Colorado, but because he handled four- and three-inning workloads in those outings, he should be reasonably stretched out as he re-enters the rotation. • Nabs third win
Anderson (3-4) picked up the win over the Royals on Saturday, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four over 6.2 innings.

Advice: Anderson surrendered one run in the top of the first on a Salvador Perez double before going 1-2-3 through each of the next three frames. The lefty would allow another run in both the sixth and seventh innings, but was still able to secure his third win of the season thanks to being provided with ample run support. Anderson has now gone at least six innings in three consecutive starts and is yet to allow more than three earned runs in an outing. Saturday also marked his first win since April 8 against the Marlins, as he had lost each of his previous four decisions coming in. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago
    • Records two hits, stolen base
Keith went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Astros. He also stole a base.

Advice: Keith didn't start Friday with Houston deploying lefty Framber Valdez, but the second baseman returned Saturday and extended his hitting streak to three games. It's a small bit of progress for Keith, as the 22-year-old rookie is batting just .174 for the season. Expect the Tigers to remain patient with Keith, however, and give the talented youngster plenty of chances to settle in at the MLB level. Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 am

    • Two hits, RBI in loss
Gurriel went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Gurriel singled in the Diamondbacks' final run in the fifth inning. An earlier double extended a hit streak to four games (6-for-18). The modest hit streak is a welcome sign for Gurriel, who endured a 2-for-37 (.054) slump over the nine previous games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:54 am
