    • Punches out 10 in loss
      Rodriguez (5-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out 10.

      Advice: Rodriguez got off to a rocky start Tuesday, allowing a pair of runs in each of the first two innings. The 24-year-old Rodriguez would settle in and hold Boston off the board over his final four frames while recording a career-high 10 strikeouts. However, the Orioles couldn't overcome the early deficit in the eventual 8-3 defeat. It's the first time since April 23 that Rodriguez has allowed more than two earned runs in a start -- he'd gone 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA in his previous three outings. Overall, he sports a 3.53 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 61:21 K:BB across 51 innings this season. Rodriguez's next start is currently scheduled for early next week in Toronto.       Grayson Rodriguez allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Red Sox jumped on Rodriguez early, scoring four runs on five hits in the first two innings, but the 24-year-old responded with four shutout innings to end his day. He also struck out 10 batters and walked just one on the day while posting a 38 percent whiff rate and 40 percent CSW. It mostly came down to location with Rodriguez on Tuesday. The pitches the Red Sox hit hard were either pitches that Rodriguez missed his spots on or pitches early in the count that he was simply trying to throw over the plate.       Lodolo (4-2) allowed a run on five hits over 5.1 innings Monday, striking out three and earning a win over St. Louis.

      Advice: Aside from Paul Goldschmidt's first-inning solo shot, Lodolo kept the Cardinals quiet while cruising to a victory. It was Lodolo's first start since May 11 after a trip to the injured list due to a groin issue. Before that IL stint, he lost two straight starts while coughing up eight total runs through 11 innings. Lodolo now owns a 3.12 ERA with a 46:9 K:BB through seven starts.       Nick Lodolo limited the Cardinals to one run in 5 1/3 innings in the Reds’ 3-1 victory Monday.

      Advice: Lodolo was off to a tremendous start to the season, with his 3.34 ERA and 43/9 K/BB ratio in six starts after returning from his leg injury from last year. The 26-year-old has yet to have arm problems in his MLB career but has been banged up continuously. The Reds will hope he can remain healthy for the rest of the season, but he is a risky start today after not making a rehab appearance prior to being activated.       Advice: An extended bullpen session last Wednesday put Lodolo in the clear to return after the minimum, and without a rehab assignment. The left-hander has pitched brilliantly in between IL stints this season, posting a 3.34 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 43:9 K:BB over 35 innings. While he may not be available for 90-plus pitches right away in his return, there has been nothing to suggest Lodolo will face any major restrictions against St. Louis.       Advice: Woo finally showed some signs of weakness Sunday, surrendering his first home run of the season and allowing a season-high three earned runs. Even so, the 24-year-old needed just 70 pitches to notch his second consecutive quality start. Despite not topping 80 pitches in any outing this season, Woo sits at 2-0 with a sparkling 1.66 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in 21.2 innings this season.       Bryan Woo pitched six innings and allowed three runs Sunday versus the Nationals.

      Advice: Woo got just three missed swings and one strikeout today, but he proved moderately effective in allowing only five hard-hit balls and five hits.       Gilbert gave up one run on three hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Saturday. He struck out four without walking a batter.

      Advice: Gilbert allowed a run in the second inning on a couple singles, a stolen base and a sacrifice fly, but that was the extent of the damage. While his efforts weren't rewarded with a win, Gilbert continued his run of strong pitching with a third consecutive quality start since his eight-run hiccup in Minnesota on May 9.
