• Homers in three-hit game
Buxton went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Buxton got the Twins on the board with his fifth-inning solo shot and was also a part of their rally in the seventh. The outfielder has gone 8-for-20 (.400) with six extra-base hits over his last five games. He slumped early in June but has rebounded to get his slash line to .255/.302/.435 with six homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored and five stolen bases over 215 plate appearances this year. • George Springer finds power stroke in win
George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out. • Vlad Jr. has four RBI in win over Red Sox
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Vlad Jr. drove in two on a double in the third inning and then drove in two more on another double in the fourth inning. He now has 40 RBI on the season and has been far and away the Blue Jays’ best hitter this season. He also made two bad errors in the field, but that doesn’t count for most fantasy leagues. • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline. Rotoworld Monday, 8:20 pm
  • Stays hot Monday
Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and a double in Monday's 7-6 loss to Boston.

Advice: Guerrero knocked a three-run blast to cap off Toronto's five-run seventh inning. The 471-foot blast traveled clear over the Draft Kings sign above the Green Monster and is the longest of his career. He hit (.235) through 14 games to begin the month but has since gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three homers over his last eight contests. Those three homers have come in his last four games after he hit just three over his previous 39 appearances. Guerrero is slashing .286/.368/.429 with 36 RBI and 23 extra-base hits. • Vlad Jr. sends 10th home run to the moon
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-4 with a double and three-run home run against the Red Sox on Monday night.

Advice: The home run was Guerrero Jr.’s 10th of the season. He hit a three-run shot 471 feet over the left field wall off Boston reliever Isaiah Campbell. It was Guerrero Jr.’s second consecutive game with a home run and third home run in his last four games. He’s hitting .286 with a .797 OPS and 36 RBI on the season.

  • Heston Kjerstad starting over Cowser on Monday
Colton Cowser is on the bench on Monday against the Guardians.

Advice: After the Orioles called up Heston Kjerstad on Monday, they will now insert him into the starting lineup and move Cowser to the bench. In 46 games since May 1st, Cowser is hitting .182/.285/.299 with a 29 percent strikeout rate, so the Orioles may be willing to move him to the bench full-time to see if Kjerstad can provide them more offense. • Sitting in favor of Kjerstad
Cowser is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Cowser will take a seat against a right-handed starter (Tanner Bibee) for the third time in five games. Though the Orioles haven't publicly said that Cowser -- who is batting .175 in June -- will see fewer opportunities moving forward, the promotion of Heston Kjerstad from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday wouldn't seem to be a positive development for Cowser's outlook. Kjerstad will enter the Baltimore lineup right away Monday, covering Cowser's typical spot in left field while batting fifth. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:54 am
  • Goes deep again Sunday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Guerrero launched a two-run home run in the top of first inning off Triston McKenzie, giving Toronto an early lead. He later singled and came around to score on a base knock by Addison Barger in the top of the fifth. The homer was his ninth of the season and second of the three-game series with Cleveland. Guerrero has now notched at least one hit in six of his last eight contests, batting .294 with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:00 pm
