• Remains in organization
Wynns cleared waivers and accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirerreports.

Advice: Wynns was designated for assignment by the Reds over the weekend but will stick in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 33-year-old spent just two days on the big-league roster and didn't see game action. He has a .253/.312/.414 slash line with four homers in 29 contests for Louisville this year. • Drives in three Monday
Meneses went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Advice: All three of Meneses' hits drove in a run to erase the Padres' early 3-0 lead. He's been hitting well lately, going 15-for-46 (.326) with 10 RBI and five extra-base hits over his last 13 games. Meneses is at a .246/.302/.327 slash line for the year while adding three home runs, two stolen bases, 40 RBI and 18 runs scored over 275 plate appearances. He had a slow start in 2023 as well, but he'd need a big second half to get up to his level from last year (.275/.321/.401). Rotowire.com Monday, 10:36 pm

  • Joey Meneses has three hits, three RBI in loss
Joey Meneses went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Meneses still really needs a few more games like this, given his struggles to date, and though the Nationals won’t want to make the move, there’s the chance he’ll be optioned out after Joey Gallo comes off the IL. Meneses is currently hitting .246/.302/.327 for the season, though much like in 2023, he has made the most of his contact; he’s driven in 40 runs in 67 games. Rotoworld Monday, 10:20 pm

  • Bryan Woo to undergo MRI on ailing hamstring
Bryan Woo will undergo an MRI on his right hamstring on Tuesday.

Advice: Woo didn’t speak after the game. That he’s going for an MRI suggests that even if he gets good news, he’s still going to miss some time. Woo was pulled from his start Monday in the fourth after hurting his leg while throwing a pitch. Rotoworld Monday, 7:07 pm

  • Bryan Woo exits due to hamstring tightness
Bryan Woo exited his start Monday with right hamstring tightness, according to the Mariners.

Advice: Everything is tightness initially now, so that seemingly positive diagnosis means nothing at the moment. If Woo needs to miss some time, but Mariners might go to Jhonathan Diaz in the rotation. Emerson Hancock is the usual fallback, but he’s dealing with a back problem at the moment. • Nursing hamstring injury
Woo was removed from Monday's game against the Rays due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: Woo left his start with the team trainer after suffering what looked to be a right leg injury, and he's since been diagnosed with a hamstring issue. The team should have a better idea of whether he'll require a trip to the injured list after further evaluation, and he's set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. • Exits early versus Rays
Woo left Monday's contest in the fourth inning due to an apparent right leg injury, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Advice: Woo pitched three scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out three batters to open his outing Monday. He then surrendered a leadoff single to Richie Palacios in the bottom of the fourth inning and was removed thereafter with a right leg injury. Woo was visibly upset after tweaking something in his leg and a more exact diagnosis will likely come in the near future. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:03 pm
