      Tyler Freeman went 3-for-5 and doubled twice as the Guardians’ leadoff man Monday against the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman won’t be spending much time in the leadoff spot after Steven Kwan comes off the IL, but he looks like a lineup fixture right now.       Advice: Freeman is still hitting just .217 on the year, but he's made big strides by batting .302 (13-for-43) over his last 12 contests. He's hit leadoff during that entire span, though his time atop the order will likely end when Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns.       Advice: Torres’ three-run homer in the seventh gave the Yankees their first runs of the evening after they spent the first six innings being stifled by Bryan Woo. Torres’ homer, his third on the season, ended shutout but didn’t prove to be enough for the Yankees, who were held scoreless the rest of the way.
