    • Slugs seventh homer
Ramos went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and two walks in Friday's 8-6 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Ramos collected his seventh multi-hit effort in 12 games in June. He's also posted five homers, 14 RBI and an 8:15 BB:K over that span. Ramos is up to a .314/.400/.529 slash line with seven long balls, 27 RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base over 140 plate appearances this season. He initially worked in the corner outfield spots, but the 24-year-old has started the last seven games in center field as he continues to solidify his place in the majors. • Heliot Ramos hits three-run homer in loss to LAA
Heliot Ramos hit a three-run homer and reached four times in a loss to the Angels on Friday.

Advice: In addition to the three-run homer, Ramos also singled and drew a pair of walks. The 24-year-old has been outstanding in 2024 after struggling in his limited MLB chances in the past, and the four-reach game has him slashing .314/.400/.529 in 121 at-bats. It’s time to take Ramos seriously, if you needed any convincing. Rotoworld Friday, 10:17 pm
    • Fans eight in win
Nelson (4-5) earned the win Friday against the White Sox, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Nelson collected his third quality start of the season as he generated 13 whiffs en route to a season-high eight punchouts. The Arizona righty was especially sharp in this 95-pitch outing, as his entire pitch arsenal displayed increased velocity, led by a slider that was 2.1 mph faster than average. With this one-run performance, Nelson lowered his season ERA to 5.49. He is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Nationals on the road. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:28 pm

    • Freddie Freeman drives in go-ahead run in eighth
Freddie Freeman singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over the Royals on Friday.

Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Freeman drove in a run with an RBI single to give the Dodgers a 4-3 lead and ultimately the victory. The 34-year-old has now driven in 42 runs, and nine of those have come in the first half of June. To the surprise of absolutely no one, Freeman remains one of the best first baseman — and hitters regardless of position — in the sport. Rotoworld Friday, 9:19 pm

    • Ryne Nelson whiffs eight in victory over White Sox
Ryne Nelson struck out eight while allowing just a run over six innings to get a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Nelson scattered six hits while putting one runner on via walk throughout the outing. This makes two-of-three outings for the 26-year-old being quality ones, which a clunker against the Padres last weekend in between. Even with those outings, the 26-year-old still has an unhealthy 5.49 ERA, and the lack of competent players on the White Sox is certainly worth pointing out. Rotoworld Friday, 9:12 pm

    • Alec Bohm delivers decisive two-run double
Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with double and two RBI on Friday in the Phillies’ dramatic 5-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Bohm’s eleventh inning double put a stamp on what was maybe the game of the year so far with the Orioles and Phillies going back and forth all night with a long rain delay in between. It was his third hit of the night and second batted ball over 100 MPH. He continues to be a force in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup. Rotoworld Friday, 8:53 pm

    • Ranger Suárez allows just one run against Orioles
Ranger Suárez scattered six hits across 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision on Friday against the Orioles. He struck out six, walked two, and allowed one earned run.

Advice: Relative to the rest of his season, this was a difficult start for Suárez and he still allowed just one run against one of the best offenses in baseball. He kept the ball down, mixed all five of his pitches, and hit his spots when he needed to. Especially tough on lefties, he made Gunnar Henderson look as frustrated as he’s been all season with two nasty punch outs. Suárez’s Cy Young campaign will march on next week against the Padres. • Simeon Woods Richardson gives up grand slam Friday
Simeon Woods Richardson struggled in a no-decision against the Athletics on Friday night, giving up four runs on four hits over his four innings of work.

Advice: The 23-year-old hurler also issued four free passes on the night while striking out four batters. All of the damage done against him came in the opening inning as Woods Richardson loaded the bases on a pair of walks and an infield single, then Shea Langeliers crushed a two-out grand slam. He settled in after that to keep the A’s off the board over his final three frames, but the damage had been done. He got seven whiffs on 80 pitches on the night, posting a minuscule CSW of 20 percent. He’ll carry a 3.29 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 46/15 K/BB ratio (54 2/3 innings) into Thursday’s showdown against the Rays. Rotoworld Friday, 8:44 pm
    • Chased early in loss
Littell (2-5) yielded seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and a walk over two innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against Atlanta.

Advice: Atlanta jumped all over Littell right out of the gate, tallying five runs in the first inning and two more in the second. It was Littell's shortest outing of the year and he saw his ERA jump from 3.63 to 4.24 in the process. Over his last six starts, he's posted a 5.79 ERA in 31.2 frames. Still looking for his first win since May 11, Littell's next start is projected to come in Minnesota. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:33 pm
