    • Spencer Torkelson goes deep in loss to D’Backs
Spencer Torkelson clubbed his third home run of the season on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to power the Tigers past the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Advice: The 24-year-old slugger got the Tigers on the board in the third inning, crushing a 428-foot (106.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Jordan Montgomery in the third inning. He also reached on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Kerry Carpenter that was nearly an inside-the-park home run. Torkelson finished the afternoon 1-for-4 and is now hitting .227/.291/.360 with three long balls and 17 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 4:16 pm

    • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:38 pm

    • Alec Bohm knocks in five to take over MLB lead
Alec Bohm had a three-run homer and two sac flies to lead the Phillies to an 11-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bohm has had four six-RBI games in his career, including one last month, but this is the first time he’s finished with exactly five. He’s now the major league leader with 42 RBI, giving him one more than Marcell Ozuna and José Ramírez. With a .330/.389/.528 line in 47 games, he’s on track to make his All-Star debut this summer. • Aaron Nola goes seven in victory over Nationals
Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

Advice: A strong followup to his shutout of the Mets. Nola gave up just two hits, which were homers to Eddie Rosario and Jesse Winker. He’s completed seven innings in five of his last seven starts, and he’s 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:20 pm

    • Jameson Taillon allows three runs in loss to Bucs
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pirates, giving up three runs on six hits across 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. He served up a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the second inning, then kept the Pirates at bay until Nick Gonzales smacked a two-run single in the fifth inning that scored a pair of runners that Taillon had left on base. The 32-year-old hurler got eight swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 22/10 K/BB ratio (32 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis. • Corbin Burnes fans 11 in defeating Mariners
Corbin Burnes fanned 11 while allowing one run in six innings Sunday as the Orioles bested the Mariners 6-3.

Advice: Burnes matched his season-high for strikeouts; he also fanned 11 on Opening Day. Oddly, he hasn’t struck out more than six in any of his other eight starts. Still, he’s been plenty successful in amassing a 2.56 ERA to date. The win today was his first since April 20. Rotoworld Today, 1:54 pm

    • Jordan Romano nails down seventh save
Jordan Romano struck out the only batter he faced on Sunday to earn the save.

Advice: Romano came on for the last out of the game after Zach Pop allowed a two-run homer to Isaac Paredes and closed the door. Strikeouts have lagged for Romano since returning from the IL and his hold on the closer role could become shaky with Yimi Garcia’s breakout. Rotoworld Today, 1:42 pm

    • Sitting against southpaw
Carpenter is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Carpenter has a 1.034 OPS with seven extra-base hits over his past eight games, but he'll receive Sunday off as lefty Jordan Montgomery pitches for Arizona. Wenceel Perez will shift to right field while Matt Vierling receives a start in center. Rotowire.com Today, 11:55 am

    • Justin Turner not in starting lineup Sunday
Justin Turner is out of the starting lineup against the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Turner will take a seat for the finale against the Rays with Daniel Vogelbach lined up as the designated hitter and hitting fifth. Rotoworld Today, 9:02 am
