    • Removed early Saturday
Rodriguez was removed from Saturday's game against the Blue Jays in the second inning, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rodriguez never made a plate appearance Saturday, and it's not immediately apparent why he had to come out of the game, but the Blue Jays should offer some more clarity soon. In the meantime, Luke Raley will move out to center field while Ty France mans first base. Rotowire.com Today, 1:35 pm

    • Julio Rodriguez leaves game with possible injury
Julio Rodriguez was removed from Saturday’s ballgame against the Blue Jays in the first inning due to an apparent injury.

Advice: No word yet on what exactly occurred, but Rodriguez was pinch-hit for by Ty France the first time that he strolled to the plate in the home half of the first inning. Expect the Mariners to provide an update on the superstar outfielder’s status as soon as more information is available. Rotoworld Today, 1:31 pm

    • Josh Winckowski gives up three runs in no-decision
Josh Winckowski allowed three runs with four strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: Winckowski got the start for the Red Sox on Saturday and was chased by the fourth inning. Ben Rice took him deep for a solo homer to lead off the first inning. Winckowski worked out of a bases loaded jam in the second, then surrendered a two-run homer to Alex Verdugo in the third. He allowed a leadoff double in the fourth inning and recorded the first two outs before his day was done at 66 pitches. The 26-year-old right-hander holds a 3.23 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 32/14 K/BB ratio across 39 innings. He’s currently lined up for a start against the Royals in Boston on Friday. • Kyle Schwarber likely to return on Tuesday
Kyle Schwarber (groin) is scheduled to run the bases on Saturday.

Advice: Schwarber is poised to complete his final step towards returning this weekend and appears a near-lock to return on Tuesday when the Phillies kick off a highly-anticipated series against the Dodgers. Rotoworld Today, 12:45 pm

    • Set for rehab assignment
Arizona sent Lawlar (hamstring) on a rehab assignment to the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks on Saturday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Lawlar was placed on Reno's 7-day injured list June 17 after sustaining a Grade 1 left hamstring strain while legging out a triple against Sacramento two days earlier. Lawlar missed the beginning of the season while recovering from a surgical procedure to repair ligament damage in his right thumb, and he played in just 11 games before the hamstring strain. The 22-year-old shortstop has gone 16-for-45 with five doubles, five stolen bases, one home run and 16 RBI in the minors this season. Lawlar will get up to game speed over a few outings in the ACL as he works his way back to Reno. Rotowire.com Today, 11:41 am

    • Out against LHP
Lowe isn't in the Rays' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Southpaw Andrew Heaney will start on the mound for Texas, so the left-handed bat of Lowe will begin Saturday's contest on the bench, opening up right field for Jonny DeLuca. Rotowire.com Today, 11:00 am

    • Josh Lowe on bench Saturday against southpaw
Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rangers.

Advice: Rays manager Kevin Cash is rolling with an all right-handed lineup on Saturday afternoon against Rangers southpaw Andrew Heaney, which means Lowe will start this one on the bench. The 26-year-old corner outfielder is batting .259 (14-for-54) with three homers and six steals over his last 15 contests. Rotoworld Today, 10:35 am

    • Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) starts rehab assignment
Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Saturday in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

Advice: Lawlar has missed the majority of the first half due to injury, so it’s a positive sign that he’s ready to return to game action after being shelved back in mid-June with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The 21-year-old shortstop remains one of the top fantasy prospects in the game and figures to be back in action at Triple-A Reno in a few days. Rotoworld Today, 10:08 am

    • Goes yard again
Riley went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Aaron Nola let a sinker catch too much of the plate in the fourth inning, and Riley drove it over the wall in center field for Atlanta's first runs of the night. The third baseman has an extra-base hit and at least one RBI in four straight games, and over his last 20 contests he's slashing .362/.438/.797 with six doubles, eight homers, 17 runs and 17 RBI.
