    • Alec Burleson collects two hits in win on Sunday
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored as the Cardinals triumphed over the Cubs on Sunday evening.

Advice: Burleson smacked a one-out single off of Javier Assad in the third inning, then rode home on Paul Goldschmidt’s first two-run homer of the night. With his two-hit effort, the 25-year-old outfielder is now hitting a robust .309/.338/.460 with five long balls, 17 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld May 26, 9:20 pm

    • Hits go-ahead blast
Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Santander put the Orioles ahead with the second of their three homers in the eighth inning. He's gone 3-for-15 with two homers and four RBI over his last four contests. The outfielder is up to a .205/.284/.432 slash line with nine long balls, 29 RBI, 25 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 197 plate appearances. Santander started three of the last four games in right field before resting his legs as the designated hitter Saturday, so it looks like he's moved past the bruised knee that bothered him earlier in the week. • Resting Sunday
Young is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Seattle, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Young will get a break after starting the last seven games at center field while going 6-for-23 with three RBI. With Young and Jesse Winker (quadricep) on the bench, Ildemaro Vargas, Victor Robles and Eddie Rosario will form the Washington outfield from left to right. Rotowire.com May 26, 8:47 am

    • Smacks three-run shot
Ward went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Ward jumped on a four-seamer from Tanner Bibee in the bottom of the third and launched it over the wall in left field for a three-run shot to bring the Angels back within one run of Cleveland. It marked the fourth long ball for the outfielder in his last nine games as well as his first multi-RBI effort this month. Ward is now up to 11 home runs and 32 RBI on the campaign while also hitting safely in eight of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com May 26, 6:12 am

    • Ward hits 11th home run on Saturday
Taylor Ward went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Ward supplied all the offense for the Angels as they lost this one 4-3. The home run was his 11th of the season. After somewhat of a down season last year, Ward has regained his power stroke. His .211 ISO would be a career-high and his .271 average is also solid for the career .257 hitter. • Anthony Santander launches two-run homer in win
Anthony Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to put the Orioles ahead in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: After drawing a walk to lead off the seventh inning, Santander took Michael Kopech deep for a two-run blast in the eighth to give the Orioles a one-run lead. It was his second homer in three games. Though, he’s collected only three hits in his last seven. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .205/.284/.432 with nine homers and 29 RBI across 197 plate appearances. Rotoworld May 25, 2:27 pm

    • Goes yard in win
Santander went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 8-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Santander's homer was his eighth of the season and first since May 11. He's been battling a bruised knee over the last week, which could explain his 2-for-20 run at the plate over his last five games. The outfielder is slashing .206/.280/.424 with 27 RBI, 23 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 189 plate appearances. Aside from the knee issue and the occasional rest day, he's been a regular in the Orioles' lineup as the team's starter in right field. Rotowire.com May 24, 9:39 am
