    • Resting Saturday
Vaughn isn't in the White Sox's lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Vaughn is currently enjoying a five-game hitting streak, but the White Sox will give him a breather Saturday. Gavin Sheets will man first base instead, allowing Robbie Grossman to pick up a start in right field and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:53 am

    • Andrew Vaughn not starting Saturday vs. STL
Andrew Vaughn is not in the starting lineup for Saturday’s game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Vaughn, 26, has swung the bat much better as of late with his average rising to .196 from the .157 mark he carried on April 24. He’ll get a day off with Gavin Sheets handling first base and Robbie Grossman starting in right field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:46 am

    • Yandy Díaz goes 0-for-5 in loss to Brewers
Yandy Díaz finished 0-for-5 in the loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Advice: Díaz did reach on an error, but he was credited with four groundouts and one flyout today. His groundball rate is currently checking in at 62%, well above his already problematic career mark of 53%. Hopefully, it’s something he can straightened out in the next few weeks. If not, it looks like we’re back to the Díaz of 2019-21, when he was a valuable major leaguer but one without much to offer in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:49 pm

    • Walks off Dodgers
Walker went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker bookended the Diamondbacks' scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning then a two-run, walk-off job in the bottom of the 10th. He closed out the month on a roll, going 10-for-24 (.417) with four homers and nine RBI over the final seven games. The first baseman has a team-high seven home runs and is tied for the team lead with 22 RBI. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:54 am

    • Creating a buzz: Walker hits walk-off HR in extras
Christian Walker homered twice including a two-run homer in the 10th inning to give the Diamondbacks a 4-3 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: In a game that was delayed due to a swarm of bees, Walker ended up creating the buzz. Sorry. The first baseman homered in the fourth inning off Landon Knack, but the big blow was a two-run shot in the bottom of the 10th off Nabil Crismatt to give Arizona the victory. Walker has homered in two of his last three games, and he’s up to 7 on the season with an .890 OPS and 22 RBI. Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:25 pm

    • Clubs solo home run
Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Walker got things started with a solo blast off Logan Gilbert in the second inning to knot the game up at 1-1. He later doubled in the fourth but was left stranded. The 33-year-old slugger has notched at least a hit in five straight games while homering twice and racking up five RBI over that span. For the year, he's slashing .271/.383/.439 with five homers, 18 RBI, 21 runs and an 18:31 BB:K in 128 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:49 am

    • Christian Walker goes deep as D’Backs top Mariners
Christian Walker went 2-for-4 and clubbed a solo home run on Sunday as the Diamondbacks topped the Mariners 3-2 in Seattle.

Advice: Walker delivered the equalizer for the Diamondbacks in the second inning of this one, blasting a 422-foot (104.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Logan Gilbert. He also added a two-out double off of Gilbert in the fourth inning but wound up stranded there. With the two-hit attack, the 33-year-old slugger is now hitting .271/.383/.439 with five homers and 18 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:15 pm

    • Back in action Sunday
Diaz (finger) is starting at first base and batting leadoff Sunday against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old sat out Saturday after being hit by a pitch in the left pinky finger Friday, but he'll rejoin the starting nine after missing just one game. Diaz is hitting .324 in his past nine contests, though he's slugging just .378 during that stretch and has not hit a home run since Opening Day. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:04 am

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Vaughn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Vaughn started the past six games but will head to the bench Sunday after going 5-for-24 during that stretch. Gavin Sheets will shift to first base while Robbie Grossman starts in right field. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:50 am
