• Jordan Westburg returns to lineup on Thursday
Jordan Westburg (hip) is back in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Yankees.

Advice: Westburg missed Wednesday’s game after he was removed from Tuesday’s game following being hit by a pitch. The Orioles had previously said he was day-to-day and that proved true as he’s back at second base and hitting sixth on Thursday. Ramon Urias will play third base as Jorge Mateo heads to the bench. • Back in action Thursday
Westburg (hip) will start at second base and bat sixth in Thursday's game versus the Yankees.

Advice: Westburg had to depart Tuesday's contest with a bruised left hip and then didn't play Wednesday, but he's back in there for Thursday's rubber match. With Westburg handling second base, Ramon Urias will be at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Today, 11:40 am

  • Getting breather Wednesday
Rojas isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rojas will take a seat Wednesday after going 4-for-9 with an RBI and three runs scored through the first two games of the series. He will be replaced at shortstop by Enrique Hernandez, who will bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:09 pm

  • Out of lineup Wednesday
Westburg (hip) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Westburg was forced from Tuesday's 4-2 loss with a bruised left hip following a collision on the infield with Yankees outfielder Juan Soto. He's considered day-to-day, and it's possible he'll be available off the bench for Wednesday's contest. Ramon Urias will fill in for Westburg at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:21 pm

  • Provides early lift
Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Washington.

Advice: Marte got it started early with a two-run home run in the first inning. He later plated a run on a sacrifice fly. While he's had a good season to date -- one that's generating All-Star buzz from Arizona Sports -- Marte can be even more productive if Corbin Carroll's bat stays hot ahead of him in the lineup. Carroll's batting .340 over the last 12 games, and Marte has driven in 10 runs during that stretch. For the season, Marte has an .863 OPS, 15 home runs, 42 RBI, three steals and 50 runs scored. • Considered day-to-day
Manager Brandon Hyde said that Westburg was diagnosed with a bruised left hip following Tuesday's loss to the Yankees, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: Westburg collided with Juan Soto during the first inning of Tuesday's contest and eventually had to leave the game in the second. He appears to have avoided any significant damage, and it's possible he'll return to Baltimore's lineup Wednesday without missing any games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:30 pm

  • Jordan Westburg day-to-day with hip soreness
Jordan Westburg is day-to-day with left hip soreness.

Advice: Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters following Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees that Westburg is pretty sore, but it doesn’t sound like he suffered a significant injury when he collided at an awkward angle with Juan Soto during the opening frame of the contest, which led to his early exit. The 25-year-old infielder will likely sit out a couple games moving forward, but it doesn’t appear that he’s headed to the injured list. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:16 pm

  • Ketel Marte homers, drives in three vs. Nationals
Ketel Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

Advice: Marte hit a 434-foot shot off Jake Irvin in the top of the first to give the Diamondbacks an early 2-0 lead. It was Marte’s 15 homer of the season and marks his third-straight game with an RBI. He would later bring home Corbin Carroll on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. The veteran second baseman has bounced back nicely from a down May in which he hit .216 and is now slashing .360/.468/.640 in the month of June with five home runs and 13 RBI. • Jordan Westburg leaves game with hip discomfort
Jordan Westburg was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Yankees with left hip discomfort.

Advice: Westburg collided awkwardly with Yankees slugger Juan Soto while fielding a first-inning grounder at third base and was lifted from the contest in the ensuing frame. It sounds like his early exit was merely for precautionary reasons, but he’ll presumably undergo some additional testing to rule out anything serious. The 25-year-old holds an .836 OPS with 11 homers and six steals in 275 plate appearances this season. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:19 pm
