    Advice: He'll give up his spot on the 26-man active roster for right-hander Daulton Jefferies, who was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move and is expected to serve as the primary pitcher out of the bullpen in Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.     Advice: Hyde said something similar prior to Tuesday's game and Kimbrel did not appear in that contest. It's possible the skipper is just practicing some gamesmanship here so that the Yankees have less information to work with, but either way it doesn't sound like there will be clarification prior to Wednesday's game.     Advice: It was a strong bounce-back effort from Rea after he allowed five runs on three homers against the Yankees in his last outing. Overall, it's been a strong start to the year for the 33-year-old right-hander. Rea's held opponents to one run or fewer in four of his six starts, lowering his ERA to 2.67 with a 1.22 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB over 33.2 innings.     Siri's (thigh) had his three-game suspension reduced to two games following an appeal and began serving the ban in Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Brewers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

    Advice: Siri was handed the suspension as a result of his role in Tuesday's bench-clearing brawl with the Brewers. He ended up being held out of the lineup Wednesday with a sore left thigh, and that game will count toward his time served for the suspension. He'll serve the final game of his suspension Friday against the Mets, but he should be ready to play Saturday, assuming the thigh issue isn't still presenting complications for him.
