      Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks.       Arenado went 3-for-3 with two walks and a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: The veteran third baseman took Erick Fedde deep in the fifth inning to give the Cardinals a 5-3 lead, but it didn't hold up. Arenado has recorded multiple hits in three of the last five games, and the surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .296/.362/.408 with two homers, 14 runs and 19 RBI through 33 contests.       Advice: That’s back-to-back games with two hits and three RBI for Arenado. He knocked a base hit in the first inning, then drew a walk in the fourth. With two runners on base in the fifth, he took Erick Fedde deep for a three-run homer, his second of the season. Arenado drew another walk in the eighth and knocked a base hit in the tenth to reach base in all five plate appearances.       Advice: Arenado doubled home two runs in the first, and another in the fifth. The 33-year-old has picked up eight two-baggers in the 2024 campaign, and the pair of hits ups his slash to .279/.338/.369.       Advice: Smith's second-inning single and sixth-inning solo shot give the 26-year-old infielder his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. He is 7-for-14 two homers, three RBI and three runs scored during that stretch and now boats an impressive .917 OPS on the season while filling in as Josh Jung's (wrist) replacement.     • Josh Smith homers as Rangers down Nationals
      Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.



      Advice: Smith hit his second homer of the season, a solo blast, off of Jordan Weems in the bottom up the sixth to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead. It was the second of two hits for Smith on the night, as the young third baseman has filled in admirably for Josh Jung and is now slashing .317/.417/.500 through the first month of the season. With Jung out for at least 4-6 more weeks, Smith should continue to have some low-end fantasy upside batting in a Rangers offense that ranked 14th in runs scored heading into the day.       Westburg (illness) will start at second base and bat seventh in Monday's game versus the Yankees.
