    • Productive in extra-innings loss
Adell went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Adell has gone 9-for-36 (.250) with four homers, nine RBI and one steal over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is up to eight homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored, eight steals, four doubles, a triple and a .250/.320/.528 slash line through 122 plate appearances. Adell has had some brief successful stints in previous years, but he's finally sticking in a full-time role in right field in 2024 since the Angels have few better options available. • Jo Adell homers in extra-innings loss to Rangers
Jo Adell homered and walked twice in an extra-innings loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Adell took Jose Leclerc deep to give the Angels a 2-1 lead and Adell his eighth homer of the season. The 25-year-old has really impressed thus far in 2024, as the three-reach game now has his OPS up to .847 to go along with eight steals and 21 RBI over 108 at-bats. It’s too early for victory laps, but those who have believed in Adell since he was a prospect have to feel a little more sane watching this run. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:03 pm

    • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) not in Saturday’s lineup
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) remains absent from the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Orioles.

Advice: Polanco hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet, but he’s out of Seattle’s lineup for the fourth straight contest on Saturday afternoon with Josh Rojas filling in at the keystone. The 30-year-old infielder has been sidelined since exiting Monday’s game against the Royals with right hamstring tightness. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:16 am

    • Remains out Saturday
Polanco (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Orioles.

Advice: Polanco will remain on the bench for a fourth consecutive game as he continues to nurse right hamstring soreness. Josh Rojas will draw another start at second base and bat leadoff against Baltimore. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:09 am

    • Homers, draws three walks Friday
Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run, an additional run and three walks in Friday's 4-2 win against the White Sox.

Advice: Judge belted a 433-solo shot to left field in the first inning to plate the first run of the game. Chicago pitchers didn't bother with him thereafter, walking the slugger in each of his remaining three plate appearances, with one of the free passes being intentional. After a subpar start to the season, Judge has turned things around of late, slashing .475/.604/1.150 with six homers, nine doubles, 12 RBI, 14 runs and a 12:7 BB:K over his past 12 contests. • Aaron Judge homers again in win
Aaron Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and three walks in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Judge has been retired just once in three games as his scalding hot streak continues. He has six home runs in his last 46 at-bats and his .981 OPS is suddenly sixth among all qualified hitters. Rotoworld Friday, 7:06 pm

    • Adley Rutschman scores twice in rout of Mariners
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and a pair of runs scored as the Orioles routed the Mariners on Friday evening at Camden Yards.

Advice: Rutschman singled and scored during the Orioles’ five-run uprising off of Bryce Miller in the first inning. The 26-year-old backstop then plated Gunnar Henderson with an RBI double off of Kirby Snead in the seventh inning and raced around to score on an RBI double off the bat of Austin Hays. He continues to perform as one of the top offensive catchers in the game — slashing .318/.353/.514 with nine homers, 28 RBI and one stolen base. Rotoworld Friday, 6:38 pm
    • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) could need IL stint
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) remains out of the Mariners’ starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Orioles.

Advice: There had been an expectation that the 30-year-old second baseman would be ready to return on Friday night after three straight days off, but alas it was not to be. The Mariners are now saying that he may miss the entire series against the Orioles and could wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. Stay tuned. Josh Rojas will slide over and cover second base in his absence on Friday while Luis Urias starts at the hot corner. Rotoworld Friday, 2:51 pm

    • Cedric Mullins sits against another righty Friday
Cedric Mullins is absent from the Orioles’ starting lineup on Friday night against the Mariners.

Advice: It’s starting to become a trend that the once-feared slugger is now sitting against right-handers. Mullins has now found himself stationed on the pine three times in the team’s past five ballgames. Colton Cowser will cover center field in his place while Kyle Stowers will draw a start in left field and bat eighth for the O’s against Bryce Miller and the Mariners. Rotoworld Friday, 2:21 pm
