    • Three hits in return
Kwan went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a walk in Friday's win over the Nationals.

Advice: Kwan returned from the injured list after missing nearly the entire month of May but showed no signs of rust. He singled three times, including an RBI knock in the eighth inning. He's produced five multi-hit performances in his last eight appearances. Kwan owns a strong .365/.420/.504 slash line with 30 runs scored and a 12:12 BB:K through 150 plate appearances. • Steven Kwan goes 3-for-4 in return
Steven Kwan went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a walk in a win over the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: Kwan didn’t miss a beat after spending nearly four weeks on the IL with a hamstring strain. He was slashing the ball all over the yard and in the middle of multiple Guardians’ rallies. His batting average is up to an astounding .365. Rotoworld Friday, 6:38 pm

    • Back from IL
The Dodgers reinstated Phillips (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list Friday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Phillips was forced onto the injured list May 5 after suffering a right hamstring strain. He's since thrown 1.2 innings of shutout ball while striking out three batters and walking none during a rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. The 29-year-old right-hander should immediately reclaim his spot as the Dodgers' closer, a role he thrived in prior to getting injured. Elieser Hernandez was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:20 pm
    • Dodgers activate Evan Phillips from 15-day IL
Dodgers activated RHP Evan Phillips from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: The 29-year-old closer finally returns to the Dodgers’ bullpen after landing on the injured list with a hamstring strain. While Daniel Hudson and Blake Treinen did a nice job in his absence, expect Phillips to jump right into the team’s ninth-inning role. On the season, he holds a minuscule 0.66 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and a 17/4 K/BB ratio over 13 2/3 innings of work while recording eight saves. Rotoworld Friday, 3:57 pm
    • Back from IL, leading off Friday
Kwan (hamstring) was reinstated from the injured list and is starting in left field and batting leadoff Friday against the Nationals, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old has been sidelined nearly four weeks by a strained left hamstring, but he's back with the Guardians after a four-game rehab stint in the minors. Kwan was producing as one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball prior to the injury with three homers, three steals and a .353/.407/.496 slash line in 32 games. • Guardians activate Steven Kwan for Friday return
Guardians activated OF Steven Kwan from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Kwan has been on the injured list since May 6 recovering from a hamstring strain. He was hitting a sublime .353 with three home runs in 32 games before the injury. Rotoworld Friday, 11:35 am

    • On verge of return
Kwan (hamstring) went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in a rehab game with Triple-A Columbus on Thursday.

Advice: After two games with High-A Lake County, Kwan moved his rehab to Columbus earlier this week. He was on base three times Thursday in his second game with the Guardians' top minor-league affiliate and added a steal for good measure, showing good confidence in his hamstring. The 26-year-old appears poised to return to the major-league lineup in the near future, possibly as soon as Friday against Washington, and will look to pick up where he left off before going down after posting a .353/.407/.496 slash line over his first 32 games this season. • Records first steal in loss
Crawford went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in a loss to the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: The veteran shortstop was one of only two Mariners to reach base multiple times on a quiet night for the team's offense. Crawford also snagged his first steal of the campaign and has reached safely in eight of 11 games since his return from the IL, but he still carries a paltry .208/.301/.328 slash line across 143 plate appearances for the season. • Triple, three RBI in win
Soto went 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Angels while also drawing two walks.

Advice: The right fielder walked in his second plate appearance before coming around to score on a home run from Aaron Judge. Soto would later add a bases-loaded triple in the seventh as he reached base three times for the second consecutive game. He's up to 24 RBI in the month of May, and his 49 RBI on the season have him tied for second in MLB with Marcell Ozuna, behind only Jose Ramirez's 57. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:47 am
