      Advice: Eflin was able to grind through five innings, tossing 91 pitches to earn the win for the second-consecutive start. After being staked with a three-run lead before ever taking the hill, Eflin allowed a three-run homer to Tyler O'Neill in the bottom of the first that tied the score. Despite the elevated pitch count through five, Eflin managed to keep the Red Sox off the board throughout the remainder of his start and did not allow a free pass in the process. Eflin will carry a 3.91 ERA and 1.13 WHIP into his next start, tentatively slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Toronto for a three-game set against the division-rival Blue Jays.       Keller (4-3) allowed eight hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over Milwaukee.

      Advice: Keller faced traffic on the bases throughout the night but was able to dance around danger and keep the Brewers scoreless. He forced 13 whiffs -- his second-best total so far this season -- and threw 71 of 100 pitches for strikes. Of those 13, seven came via the fastball, which averaged 95.2 mph. Keller has seemingly turned a corner after a shaky opening month; he's allowed just one run while posting a 12:1 K:BB over 15 frames in his last two starts.       Reynaldo López tossed five scoreless innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

      Advice: López certainly would’ve gone deeper into the contest, but he was lifted for precautionary reasons following just 71 pitches (50 strikes) after his back tightened up on him. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern with Braves manager Brian Snitker telling reporters afterwards that he doesn’t expect him to miss his next start.       Zach Eflin gave up three runs over five innings on Monday in a win over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Eflin was tagged for a three-run blast by Tyler O’Neill in the opening frame, but managed to settle in afterwards, keeping Boston’s lineup scoreless for the remainder of his abbreviated outing at Fenway Park. He struck out two and didn’t hand out a free pass for the sixth time in his last seven starts. The 30-year-old control artist will bring a respectable 3.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 41/4 K/BB ratio across 53 innings (nine starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the division-rival Blue Jays.       Lopez was lifted from Monday's start against the Cubs early due to back tightness, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. He didn't factor into the decision after allowing two hits and two walks while striking out four over five scoreless innings.

      Advice: Lopez was removed from the game firing 71 pitches, and he likely would've gone back out for the sixth had his back not become an issue. He'll be considered day-to-day leading up to his next outing, but the club expects him to be ready for his next start, per Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.     • José Berríos completes seven frames in no-decision
      José Berríos allowed two runs over seven innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Orioles.

      Advice: Berríos struck out four and only handed out one free pass. He limited Baltimore’s exciting lineup to just three hits over seven frames with a pair of Adley Rutschman solo homers accounting for all of the damage against him in this one. It was a much-needed rebound effort for the 29-year-old righty after being torched for eight runs over 3 2/3 innings his last time out against the Phillies. It was a nice bounce-back performance for Berrios, who was lit up for eight runs in his last start against the Phillies after having allowed just seven runs total through his first seven appearances.       Bradford (ribs) played catch Monday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

      Advice: According to MLB.com, manager Bruce Bochy said Friday that Bradford could be cleared to begin throwing off a mound at some point later on this week during the Rangers' six-game homestand. Bradford was originally placed on the 15-day injured list April 14 with lower-back soreness, but follow-up tests revealed that the southpaw had a "very small" stress fracture on the 12th rib on the right side of his body. Bochy said that the Rangers are expecting Bradford to be sidelined for another month, which would put him in line for a return around the middle of June.
