      Advice: Rojas recorded RBI singles in two of his first three trips to the plate before also coming around to score himself during a four-run fourth inning for Los Angeles. The shortstop continued to generate offense throughout the night, finishing with a season-high four RBI. Rojas has now recorded multiple hits in four of his last six games, going 10-for-22 (.454) over that stretch with three doubles, four RBI and five runs scored. He's batting .323 overall in June.       Advice: Busch helped Chicago get off to a fast start by belting a two-run homer in the first inning.     • Miguel Rojas plates four as Dodgers top Giants
      Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs on Saturday night, propelling the Dodgers to a 14-7 victory over the Giants in 11 innings in San Francisco.

      Advice: Rojas got the Dodgers on the board in the second inning with an RBI single off of Spencer Howard that plated Andy Pages. He drove in Pages again with an RBI knock in the fourth inning then scored on an RBI single by Will Smith. The 35-year-old shortstop also drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning, dropping an RBI single into center field that plated Chris Taylor. He finished his night with a sacrifice fly that capped off a seven-run uprising in the 11th.       Michael Busch hit a two-run homer to help the Cubs to a win over the Brewers on Saturday.

      Advice: Busch gave the Cubs a two-run lead in the first inning with a blast off Tobias Myers in the first inning. The 26-year-old has homered 10 times thus far in 2024, but only two of those roundtrippers have come in the month of June.     • Set to face live pitching
      Rendon (hamstring) will face live pitching next Thursday or Friday and could return from the 60-day injured list July 8 versus Texas, Michael Huntley of TheSportingTribune.com reports.

      Advice: Rendon has been participating in a variety of baseball activities -- including taking grounders, batting in the cage and running the bases -- so taking swings against live pitching is the logical next step in his quest to return from a left hamstring strain. Angels manager Ron Washington indicated Friday that he hopes the veteran third baseman can return for the beginning of a home series against the Rangers that kicks off July 8, though that date is certainly not set in stone. Rendon recently indicated that he's considering agreeing to a rehab assignment ahead of his return, but it doesn't appear he's made a decision on that topic at this point.       Advice: Chapman hit a two-run homer off Daniel Hudson for his 10th homer of the season, and he stole his seventh bag of the year for good measure. The 31-year-old has been a mild disappointment thus far in 2024 — depending on expectations, of course — with a .235/.316/.399 slash, but the homers and steals have help balance things out a bit.       Advice: Miranda is 18-for-49 (.367) over his last 15 contests, adding eight extra-base hits and 14 RBI in that span. The third baseman's streak of drawing a walk in five straight games ended Friday, but he's still showing good plate discipline with a 5.6 percent walk rate and 14.1 percent strikeout rate. For the year, Miranda is slashing .293/.339/.491 with eight home runs, 35 RBI, 26 runs scored and two steals over 65 contests.
