    • Slugs homer in win
Naylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor snapped a 25-game homer drought dating back to May 4. The catcher has struggled at the plate for much of the campaign, but he's gone a respectable 6-for-23 (.261) over his last seven contests. With the Guardians carrying three catchers, Naylor's margin for error at the plate is thin -- he doesn't have the defensive skill of Austin Hedges or the offensive consistency of David Fry in his favor. Naylor is slashing .184/.253/.291 with four homers, 15 RBI, 18 runs scored and one stolen base over 174 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:12 pm

    • Kyle Higashioka goes deep in win over Brewers
Kyle Higashioka filled in admirably for the injured Luis Campusano on Saturday, crushing a two-run homer and throwing out a pair of baserunners in a victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Higashioka tagged right-hander Jakob Junis for his 413-foot (102.4 mph EV) two-run blast in the seventh inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 6-0. That would be his lone hit in three at-bats on the night. For the season, the 34-year-old backstop is now hitting .173/.212/.444 with six homers and 12 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:00 pm

    • Homers again in loss
Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Alvarez's solo home run off Jameson Taillon in the fifth inning was the only run the Mets could muster Saturday. He later added a double in the seventh frame and walked in the ninth. Alvarez has homered on back-to-back days and has gone 10-for-19 with two long balls and six RBI over his past five contests. The young catcher is hitting .284 with three home runs and 16 RBI in 88 at-bats this season. Rotowire.com Today, 6:41 pm
    • Enters as pinch hitter
Stephenson fouled out in his only plate appearance during Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Stephenson has been dealing with an undisclosed injury, but managed to pinch hit in the ninth inning for Luke Maile. While Stephenson wasn't well enough to start Saturday's contest, it's certainly encouraging that he was able to take an at-bat. Rotowire.com Today, 6:03 pm

    • Homers in win
Lee went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-1 win over the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Lee singled in the fourth inning then hit a solo home run off reliever Joey Wentz in the sixth. Lee is hitting just .194 in 62 June at-bats but has recorded multi-hit efforts in two of his past four games. On the season, he is slashing .246/.285/.393 with seven homers and 19 RBI in 183 at-bats. • Padres recall Brett Sullivan from Triple-A
Padres recalled C Brett Sullivan from Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: The 30-year-old backstop will join the Padres to add depth behind the plate with Luis Campusano (thumb) heading to the injured list on Saturday. Expect him to share the catching duties with Kyle Higashioka over the next week or so. Rotoworld Today, 2:57 pm

    • Luis Campusano (thumb) lands on 10-day IL
Padres placed C Luis Campusano on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 21, with a left thumb contusion.

Advice: The Padres don’t expect him to miss longer than the minimum time on the injured list, but since he wasn’t going to be ready for at least another couple of days they opted to bring up Brett Sullivan to help them out behind the plate. Expect Sullivan to share the load with Kyle Higashioka while Campusano is sidelined. Rotoworld Today, 2:55 pm

    • Brought up to majors
The Padres recalled Sullivan from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Sullivan will take the place of Luis Campusano (thumb) on the active roster as Campusano hits the IL. Sullivan should operate as the primary backup to Kyle Higashioka while Campusano is sidelined. Rotowire.com Today, 2:32 pm

    • Hitting injured list
Campusano (thumb) was placed on the injured list Saturday but isn't expected to miss more than 10 days, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports

Advice: Campusano was scratched from Friday's game and held out of Saturday's contest with left thumb soreness, an injury that will require a stint on the IL. While the Padres don't expect the injury to last beyond the minimum 10 days, Brett Sullivan will take Campusano's place on the active roster. Kyle Higashioka should get most of the catching work, though. Rotowire.com Today, 2:29 pm
