      Nolan Jones went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk versus the Brewers on Monday.

      Advice: The second hit also would have been at least a double, but it hit first base umpire Brian O’Nora on its way down the first base line, resulting in a single. Jones has had issues with strikeouts since coming off the IL last month, but he’s hitting the ball harder than he did in April and drawing a bunch of walks (12 in 15 games).     • MRI negative on Corey Seager’s hand
      An MRI on Corey Seager’s injured left hand came back negative, leaving the shortstop day-to-day.

      Advice: Seager left Saturday’s game after being hit by a pitch and didn’t play Sunday. With no damage inside the hand, he’ll be able to play as soon as he feels comfortable gripping and swinging a bat. Rotoworld Today, 3:23 pm

      An MRI on Seager's left wrist has come back negative, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

      Advice: X-rays had also previously came back clean, so Seager's return to the Rangers' lineup will be determined by how much discomfort and swelling he's dealing with. The shortstop was injured when he was struck by a pitch Saturday in Baltimore and didn't play Sunday's game, but he has managed to avoid a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day.     • Making rehab start Wednesday
      Senga (shoulder/triceps) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Brooklyn on Wednesday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Senga is slated to throw about 40 pitches in his first game appearance since he was diagnosed with a right shoulder strain back in February. The right-hander will require multiple rehab outings before returning from the 60-day injured list, but he should be able to make his first start for the Mets before the end of July if all goes well.     • Kodai Senga (shoulder) set for rehab start
      Kodai Senga, out since the beginning of the year with a shoulder injury, will make his first rehab start Wednesday with Single-A Brooklyn.

      India went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 2-0 loss to St. Louis.

      Advice: India ripped a third-inning double, the eighth consecutive game with a two-bagger for the second baseman. That's a franchise record and one off the MLB record of nine, set by Toronto's Bo Bichette in 2019.
