      Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, leading the Reds to an 11-5 blowout victory over the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz served as Cincinnati’s primary offensive catalyst on Monday night at Great American Ball Park with a three-hit performance that included a pair of batted balls with exit velocities over 110 mph, including an impressive 439-foot moonshot -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- off Pirates reliever Daulton Jefferies in the sixth inning. He also scalded a 110-mph double to right field off Pittsburgh starter Bailey Falter, which brought home a run earlier in the contest. The 22-year-old fantasy superstar has seemingly caught fire again over the last few days, batting .379 (11-for-29) with two homers and one steal over his last seven games.       Turang went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Padres.

      Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career, and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases.       Advice: De La Cruz gave Cincinnati a 3-0 lead with his third-inning solo shot, but that turned out to be the final run the Reds scored in the game. The star shortstop came into the contest 0-for-10 with five strikeouts over his previous three contests, so the three-hit effort was a nice way to get back on track.     • Brice Turang slugs grand slam in loss to Padres
      Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

      Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. Then he singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. Then he prevented a shutout with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4.
