    • Doubles twice, steals in win
Young went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a run scored and a stolen base in a 3-1 loss to the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The 24-year-old doubled in the third inning and again in the seventh. He then stole third and scored on an errant throw by Rays catcher Alex Jackson. Since June 21, Young has four multi-hit efforts and nine runs scored in seven contests. On the season, he is hitting .272 with one home run, 18 RBI, 40 runs scored and 19 steals in 240 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:30 pm

    • Jacob Young has two hits, swipe in loss to Rays
Jacob Young went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and a stolen base as the Nationals fell to the Rays on Friday evening in Tampa Bay.

Advice: Young basically created a run with his legs in the seventh inning, smacking a two-out double, stealing third base and then trotting home as catcher overthrew the third baseman trying to cut him down. That would be the only run that the Nationals would muster in the ballgame. With his two-hit effort, Young is now hitting .272/.329/.341 with one homer, 18 RBI and 19 swipes on the season. • Goes deep in win
O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: O'Hearn snapped a 13-game homer drought with his eighth-inning blast. While his power wasn't present in that stretch, the designated hitter went 13-for-46 (.283) with 11 RBI. O'Hearn continues to excel in a strong-side platoon role, posting a .284/.340/.470 slash line with 10 homers, 33 RBI, 28 runs scored and three stolen bases over 235 plate appearances this year, with his success fueled by a career-low 10.2-percent strikeout rate. • Launches grand slam
Profar went 1-for-3 with a grand slam, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Profar gave the Padres the extra cushion they ultimately needed when he slugged a grand slam in the sixth inning. The Nationals attempted a comeback but fell short. After a brief absence with a knee injury over the weekend, Profar has resumed his hot hitting -- he's 10-for-36 (.278) with nine RBI during his nine-game hitting streak. For the season, the outfielder is at a stellar .317/.410/.488 slash line with 11 homers, 54 RBI, 45 runs scored and four stolen bases over 82 contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:48 pm

    • Jurickson Profar hits grand slam in Padres’ win
Jurickson Profar hit a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 9-7 takedown of the Nationals.

Advice: This game had a little bit of everything, including a benches-clearing incident, a manager ejection, some extended player admiration of home runs, ugly defense, boneheaded baserunning and 16 runs in all. What it didn’t have was strikeouts; the teams totaled just five, and Nationals hitters went the first eight innings without any at all. Profar, coming off a walkoff hit Monday, was involved in the early confrontation that emptied the dugouts and then immediately was hit by a pitch after warnings were issued. Immediately after that, he scored on a Manny Machado homer. His slam, a line-drive homer down the right field line, was the fourth of his career. He’s now 5-for-5 with four extra-base hits and 17 RBI with the bases loaded this season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:13 pm

    • Riley Greene leads Tigers to win over Phillies
Riley Greene hit an RBI triple on Tuesday, propelling the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Greene capped off Detroit’s four-run outburst in the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple to right field off Phillies starter Ranger Suárez. It wound up being his lone hit during a low-scoring affair at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. The 23-year-old former top prospect has managed to stay healthy and finally make the leap to upper-echelon fantasy contributor status this season with an .850 OPS to go along with 50 runs scored, 15 homers, 41 RBI and four steals through 78 contests. • Taking seat against LHP
O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: As per usual, O'Hearn will be held out of the lineup with the Orioles facing a southpaw, as Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland on Tuesday. O'Hearn is riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-22 with eight RBI during that span. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:44 am

    • Ends drought on basepaths
Young went 0-for-3 with a run scored and his 18th stolen base of the season in Monday's extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Advice: The center fielder was hit by a pitch to lead off the fifth inning, stole third base after a CJ Abrams infield single, then trotted home on a Joey Meneses knock. Young had racked up seven hits over the prior three games, and through 20 games in June he's slashing .262/.314/.354; however, Monday's steal was surprisingly his first of the month in three attempts. • Jurickson Profar wins game in 10th for Padres
Jurickson Profar delivered the game-winner in the 10th as the Padres edged the Nationals 7-6 on Monday.

Advice: Profar’s lone hit in five at-bats seemed to hang in the air forever, but it was put in the perfect spot to elude Lane Thomas and Jacob Young in right-center. The two-run single — it would have been at least a double under normal circumstances — came after Luis Arraez was walked to load the bases. Profar has hit in eight straight games, but since he’s collected just nine hits in that span and he’s been so productive on the season, he’s lost 20 points of OPS during the stretch (.917 to .897).
