      Advice: Duran served up a two-run home run to Shea Langeliers after being called upon to pitch in a high-leverage situation in the eighth inning.       Advice: Duran has lost three games in 2024, but this was technically his first blown save of the year. The right-hander came in during the eighth, but gave up a hit to Daz Cameron and then a two-run blast to Shea Langeliers.       Mason Miller struck out one in a clean ninth to get a save against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Miller “only” picked up one strikeout, but he also needed just seven pitches to get through the outing with five of those landing for strikes. The 25-year-old has locked down 14 saves for the A’s in 2024, and his ERA is a very healthy 2.08.       Pederson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-4 win over the Phillies on Friday.

      Advice: Pederson hit a solo home run in the third inning, singled in the fifth and walked in the seventh. Over his last 10 games, Pederson has gone 12-for-31 with three homers, 13 RBI and nine runs scored. Pederson only has eight at-bats against left-handed pitchers this season, but he is crushing righties to the tune of a .306/.398/.529 slash with nine home runs, 33 RBI and 28 runs scored in 170 at-bats.       Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Turner has hit safely in all three games since returning from his hamstring injury yet this home run was his first extra-base hit. He smacked it 110.6 MPH off the bat, two MPH harder than he’s hit a ball all season.       Turner went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Turner hit a two-run home run off Jordan Montgomery in the third inning then added an RBI single with the bases loaded in the seventh. Turner has gone 5-for-14 since returning from the injured list with a hamstring injury, and the homer was his first since April 17.
