    Advice: McMahon kicked off the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning off of Aaron Brooks for his only hit of the evening. He's now upped his hitting streak to nine games and is slashing .378/.310/.676 with three homers, seven RBI and nine runs scored. He's maintained an average north of .300 for the majority of the season thus far and is currently riding a streak of 19 consecutive plate appearances without striking out. Gonzalez took a while to adjust to the pros after being selected seventh overall in the 2020 Draft, but the 24-year-old seems to be coming into his own -- after erupting for a 1.039 OPS in 30 games for Triple-A Indianapolis prior to his promotion, he's produced a .282/.310/.462 slash line in 11 contests for Pittsburgh with two homers, one steal, five runs and nine RBI. He'd then cut the Mets' deficit to 5-4 with a two-run homer off left-hander Sam Hentges, his second of the year. It's been a tough start to the year for McNeil, though he's shown signs of life of late, going 6-for-19 with no strikeouts in his last five games.     Advice: Rengifo got the Angels on the board quickly with a two-run blast off Christian Javier in the opening frame. He later plated a third run in the fourth on a base knock. He's now tallied at least one hit in 11 of his last 12 games, which includes 13 hits and a .371 average over his last eight games.   • Remains in game after injury
    India suffered a left shin injury during Tuesday's win over the Padres but remained in game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

    Advice: India was hurt when he got tangled up with San Diego catcher Luis Campusano while scoring on a sacrifice fly to left. India was noticeably grabbing the shin and limped off the field but was able to finish the game.
