Suarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Advice: Though manager Torey Lovullo hinted earlier this week that Blaze Alexander would receive more playing time at third base going forward, Suarez still appears to be the Diamondbacks' preferred option at the hot corner for now. Though Alexander will man third base Sunday, Suarez had started in each of the previous three games and went 3-for-8 with a solo home run and three walks across those contests. Gurriel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Advice: Gurriel will receive a routine day off after he had started in each of Arizona's last seven games. Jake McCarthy will shift over from his usual spot in right field to cover left field in Gurriel's stead. Rotowire.com5 minutes ago
Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Advice: Garver had started each of the past five games at either designated hitter or catcher, going just 2-for-18 but drawing seven walks over that stretch. The 33-year-old's .646 OPS still represents a more than 200-point downturn from his 2023 mark with the Rangers (.870), but Garver still looks like he'll play frequently against left-handed pitching and fairly regularly against right-handed pitching. Miles Mikolas allowed one earned run across 6 ⅔ on Sunday in a 2-1 win over the Cubs. He struck out five and didn’t walk a batter.
Advice: Mikolas cruised against the scuffling Cubs on Sunday. The only run on his ledger was an inherited runner that came around after he was yanked and had a fantastic start overall. His command was fantastic as he mixed his four-seamer and sinker evenly keeping the ball off the Cubs’ hitters’ barrels. Rotoworld17 minutes ago
Kyle Finnegan threw a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Sunday.
Advice: The save was Finnegan’s 20th of the season. He’s only blown two save opportunities so far this season and lowered his ERA to 1.78. Finnegan has come out of nowhere to be one of the best closers in fantasy this year.
Moore will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Advice: Moore will pick up his fourth consecutive start in the infield since making his return from the paternity list Thursday. He'll likely serve as the Mariners' primary option at the keystone before moving into a utility role once Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is ready to come off the 10-day injured list. Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with an RBI against the Nationals on Sunday.
Advice: It was a quiet day for the Marlins offense as they could only muster one run against Washington. Chisholm’s single in the fifth inning temporarily tied the game at one. He’s hitting .260 with a .762 OPS and 34 RBI this year.
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.
Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld19 minutes ago
Jacob Young went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Marlins on Sunday.
Advice: It was Young’s first home run in his two-year career. His fantasy utility comes purely from his speed on the bases. Young has 17 steals in 60 games with the Nationals this year.
