    • Devers homers in loss to Blue Jays
Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Devers’ home run was an absolute shot, traveling 467 feet at 111.2 mph. He also had a 112.6 mph double later in the game. The Red Sox star now has 16 home runs and 42 RBI to go along with a .285/.368/.559 slash line. It’s shaping up to be another tremendous season for the 27-year-old. Rotoworld 10 minutes ago

    • Emmanuel Clase silences O’s to net 25th save
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Orioles to record his 25th save of the season.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning at Camden Yards and managed to work around a one-out double from pinch-hitter Cedric Mullins to notch another save. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has picked up four saves in the last week alone as Cleveland continues stringing together victories. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago
    • Kyle Tucker (shin) ‘close’ to resuming running
Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking swings on Sunday and could resume running within the next few days.

Advice: The revelation comes courtesy of a team statement. It’s a welcome relief for fantasy managers as we were honestly starting to wonder whether Tucker was dealing with something more serious than merely a shin contusion. He’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab contests to get back up to speed after he’s ready to get back into game action, but it doesn’t sound like he’s too far away from making it back to Houston. • Takes swings, could run soon
Tucker (shin) took swings off a tee Sunday and could be cleared to begin running soon, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has dragged on longer than anticipated, but it looks like he's finally turned a corner as he resumes baseball activities. He's more than three weeks removed from suffering the injury and still has some hoops to jump through, so he could require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster. • Could get call soon
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza acknowledged Sunday that Scott has a "good chance" of being called up from Triple-A Syracuse to enter the rotation during the team's upcoming stretch of 17 games in 17 days that begins Friday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. "He's in play," Mendoza said.

Advice: The Mets have already confirmed their starters through Saturday, so Scott could be called up as early as Sunday's series finale versus the Astros. More likely, the Mets will allow Scott to make another start at Triple-A this week before having him join the big-league rotation for next week's series in Washington. According to Will Sammon of The Athletic, Scott has been working on his sweeper during his latest stint with Syracuse, and over three starts since his demotion in late May, he's posted a 2.08 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB in 13 innings. • Goes deep in loss
Cruz went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: Cruz drove in one run in the fifth inning before capping off his night with a two-run blast in the seventh. It was his 11th home run of the year, with four of those coming this month. He was stuck in a 2-for-19 skid (.105) over his previous six games since his last multi-hit performance June 16. Cruz now owns a .243/.296/.433 slash line with 34 RBI and 27 extra-base hits through 284 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:53 pm

    • Fans eight in no-decision
Bradley came away with a no-decision Monday against Seattle, allowing one earned run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings.

Advice: The only run given up by Bradley came on a fourth-inning home run by Cal Raleigh. The right-hander yielded just two hits, but the four walks are a season worst, and he has now walked multiple batters in six of his past seven starts. The 23-year-old has an excellent 10.8 K/9 (91st percentile), but he will need to minimize free passes to stay consistent. On the season, Bradley has recorded a 3.81 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB over 49.2 innings. His next start is currently scheduled for this weekend against Washington. • Taj Bradley whiffs eight on Monday in no-decision
Taj Bradley struck out eight and allowed one run over 5 1/3 innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: Bradley carried a shutout into the fourth inning on Monday night at Tropicana Field before coughing up a solo homer to Cal Raleigh, which represented the lone tally against him in this one. He induced 12 swinging strikes, including seven on his splitter alone, and finished with a solid 30 percent CSW. The 23-year-old youngster has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four consecutive outings since getting crushed for nine runs by the division-rival Orioles back on June 1. He’ll aim to keep the momentum going on Sunday in an extremely favorable matchup against the Nationals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:41 pm
    • Drills 15th home run
Devers went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Monday's win over Toronto.

Advice: Devers put the Red Sox on the board with a two-run shot in the fourth inning. He has five homers in 20 games this month, though only two have come in his last 16 appearances. Devers bumped his slash line up to a robust .282/.366/.544 with 45 runs scored and 33 extra-base hits. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm
