    • Still no timetable for return
Astros general manager Dana Brown said in an interview Thursday on "The Sean Salisbury Show" that Tucker (shin) remains without a timeline for a return from the 10-day injured list, Michael Schwab of The Juice Box Journal reports.

Advice: Brown added that Tucker is doing some light on-field baseball activities and will require a rehab assignment before being activated. Tucker has been sidelined since early June with a right shin contusion. Rotowire.com Today, 12:02 pm

    • Hunter Greene won’t start in series against Nationals.
The Reds will start Frankie Montas, Nick Lodolo, and Andrew Abbott in this weekend’s series against the Nationals.

Advice: Hunter Greene had been on track to start on Friday based on his turn in the rotation prior to the All-Star break, but he will now be bumped back to next week’s series against the Braves. Obviously, Greene losing a start against the Nationals and gaining one against the Braves is not ideal for his fantasy managers. Rotoworld Today, 11:55 am
    • Michael Harris II likely back in August
The Athletic’s David O’Brien reported that Michael Harris II (hamstring) is “likely returning by early August.”

Advice: The 23-year-old was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain on June 15th and is still working his way through baseball activities. Given the length of his absence, he will likely require a rehab assignment as well, which means it might be at least three weeks before Harris returns to the Braves lineup, in the best-case scenario. • Unlikely to return until August
Harris (hamstring) is still at least two or three weeks away from returning from the 10-day injured list, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The center fielder has yet to begin a rehab assignment as he recovers from a hamstring strain that's sidelined him since June 14. Harris was slashing a disappointing .250/.295/.358 prior to the injury, and in his absence, Jarred Kelenic has seized firm hold of the leadoff job. When Harris gets activated from the IL, expect him to hit in the bottom half of the order. Rotowire.com Today, 7:49 am

    • Pivetta, Bello, Crawford will start vs LAD
The Boston Red Sox announced that Nick Pivetta, Brayan Bello, and Kutter Crawford would start their three-game series against the Dodgers this weekend.

Advice: Nick Pivetta will start on Friday, Brayan Bello will start on Saturday and then Kutter Crawford will start on Sunday. Each can perform well against the Dodgers without a fully healthy lineup, but there is significant risk, especially with Bello. Rotoworld Today, 7:36 am
    • Tucker has only resumed light, on-field activities
According to The Athletic’s Chandler Rome, Kyle Tucker has “only resumed light, on-field baseball activities that did not include hitting.”

Advice: Tucker’s injury is still being referred to as a “right shin contusion” or a “bone bruise” but Tucker admits that he “can’t do everything normally right now.” If Tucker doesn’t begin a minor-league rehab assignment within the next week, it would make it unlikely that he can return before August. The other factor to keep in mind is that, if the pain persists, Tucker might have to manage the injury when he returns which could limit how much he runs or even his comfort in the batter’s box. • Emmanuel Clase collects save in All-Star Game
Emmanuel Clase fired a scoreless ninth inning to collect the save during Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game at Globe Life Field.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the final frame of the Midsummer Classic and needed just 13 pitches (11 strikes) to preserve the victory. The hard-throwing 26-year-old right-hander made quite a statement in his third straight All-Star Game appearance, striking out Pete Alonso to open the frame before retiring Elly De La Cruz on a ground out to second base. Padres rookie Jackson Merrill managed to get on-base with an infield single before he struck out Bryan Reynolds to slam the door. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:54 pm
    • Aaron Judge to bat cleanup for AL All-Stars
Aaron Judge will bat cleanup for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Advice: It seems Bruce Bochy disagrees with Aaron Boone in using Judge as a No. 2 hitter. He has Judge batting behind Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto on Tuesday, so unless someone gets on base, we’ll miss out on a Paul Skenes-Judge matchup. Rounding out the lineup behind Judge will be Yordan Alvarez, José Ramírez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Adley Rutschman and Marcus Semien. Rotoworld Monday, 1:12 pm

    • Clubs 19th homer
Alonso went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Rockies.

Advice: He got the Mets on the board in the fourth inning by crushing a German Marquez two-seamer deep to left field. Alonso snapped an 11-game homer drought with the blast, and he heads into the All-Star break -- and an appearance in the Home Run Derby -- slashing .240/.319/.454 with 19 homers and 51 RBI in 95 contests.
