    • Rodriguez gets fifth win Thursday
Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs in five innings and picked up the win in the Orioles’ 8-6 win over the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Rodriguez was a bit of a mixed bag in his second start since coming off the injured list. The win was his fifth of the season. Rodriguez struck out seven, but also allowed three hits and walked five. His ERA is 3.20 on the season now. The 24-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Red Sox at home next week.

    • Strikes out seven Thursday
Waldron allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: Waldron allowed a run in each of the first two innings before settling in. He's allowed a total of five runs over his last 16 innings while adding a 23:6 K:BB in that span. Waldron's overall numbers are still mediocre -- he has a 4.86 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 52:19 K:BB through 50 innings across 10 starts -- but he's shown improvement and resilience after a tough outing versus Arizona to begin May. He's projected to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup versus the Marlins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:39 pm
    • Matt Waldron gives up two, gets no-decision
Matt Waldron didn’t factor into the decision Thursday against the Reds after allowing two runs over five innings with seven strikeouts.

Advice: Waldron gave up both of his runs in his first two innings before settling down quite nicely. The 27-year-old gave up six hits and two walks in another solid effort for the knuckleballer after scuffling in the early portion of the season. He’s absolutely worth streaming consideration; particularly in a start Tuesday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:29 pm
    • Day off Thursday
Langeliers is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Rockies.

Advice: Langeliers will get a breather for the day game after catching both of the first two games of the series. Kyle McCann will be behind the dish for the Athletics on Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 am
    • Fans career-high 12 in win
Ragans (4-3) picked up the win in Wednesday's 8-3 victory over the Tigers, allowing one hit and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out 12.

Advice: A clash with fellow star southpaw Tarik Skubal brought out the best in Ragans, who fanned a career-high 12 batters and generated a whopping 35 called or swinging strikes among his 100 pitches. The 26-year-old has reeled off 13 straight shutout innings over his last two starts, and he'll take a 3.34 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 76:21 K:BB through 62 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Minnesota. • Stifles 'Stros in Wednesday's win
Anderson (5-4) picked up the win Wednesday, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over eight innings in a 2-1 victory over the Astros. He struck out four.

Advice: The veteran southpaw needed 95 pitches (65 strikes) to deliver his third straight quality start and seventh of the season, and Anderson's eight frames marked his longest outing of the season. He'll take an impressive 2.52 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 44:23 K:BB through 64.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next week against the Yankees. • Gunnar Henderson reaches three times in O’s loss
Gunnar Henderson singled and walked twice on Wednesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Henderson kicked off the scoring with an RBI single in the third inning and wound up reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances. The 22-year-old franchise cornerstone is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his young career, batting .280/.419/.840 with four homers and one steal over his last seven games. • Cole Ragans strikes out 12 in win over Tigers
Cole Ragans recorded 12 strikeouts over six scoreless innings on Wednesday in a win over the Tigers.

Advice: Ragans held up his end of the bargain in a highly-anticipated matchup against Tigers ace Tarik Skubal, limiting Detroit’s offense to just one hit and three walks over six shutout frames. The 26-year-old emerging ace generated 15 swinging strikes and a near-elite 35 percent CSW, finishing with a season-high 12 punchouts. He’ll carry a solid 3.34 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 76/21 K/BB ratio across 62 innings (11 starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the division-rival Twins. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:38 pm

    • Tyler Anderson goes eight in defeating Astros
Tyler Anderson limited the Astros to one run and six hits over eight innings in the Angels’ 2-1 victory Wednesday.

Advice: One of those hits was a Victor Caratini double that very much should have been an error on Jo Adell in right field. Anderson had his best velocity of the season today, averaging 90.4 mph with his fastball. He’s now 5-4 with a 2.52 ERA, even though his strikeout, walk and groundball rates range from mediocre to bad. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:21 pm
