      Advice: Lorenzen fared relatively well in the outing, though he was pulled after allowing a leadoff double in the sixth inning having racked up 91 pitches. It was a relatively rare occurrence for the right-hander to get the hook that early -- coming into Monday, he had completed at least six frames in 10 of his 12 starts. Beyond eating up innings, Lorenzen has pitched quite effectively throughout the campaign, accumulating a 3.04 ERA and 1.16 WHIP despite a mediocre 55:31 K:BB through 77 frames.       Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI.       Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, leading the Reds to an 11-5 blowout victory over the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz served as Cincinnati’s primary offensive catalyst on Monday night at Great American Ball Park with a three-hit performance that included a pair of batted balls with exit velocities over 110 mph, including an impressive 439-foot moonshot -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- off Pirates reliever Daulton Jefferies in the sixth inning. He also scalded a 110-mph double to right field off Pittsburgh starter Bailey Falter, which brought home a run earlier in the contest. The 22-year-old fantasy superstar has seemingly caught fire again over the last few days, batting .379 (11-for-29) with two homers and one steal over his last seven games.       Advice: Spiers appears to be settling in at the highest level as he turned in his third consecutive strong outing in a rematch against the Pirates after a six-inning effort last week in Pittsburgh. He struck out five and only handed out one free pass. We’re not ready to proclaim that he’s a viable mixed-league option at this point, but the results have been there recently as Spiers holds a serviceable 3.45 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 25/6 K/BB ratio across 31 1/3 innings (seven appearances, two starts).       Aaron Nola yielded one run over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Nola did what he’s done best throughout his career in this one, cruising into the late innings after being staked to a massive lead before even taking the mound at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. He struck out six batters and didn’t hand out a free pass. A run-scoring single from Carson Kelly in the fifth inning represented the lone tally against him over seven strong frames. He also started an ultra-rare 1-3-5 triple play in the third inning of this one, which was the first in the big leagues since 1929 and only third of its kind in big-league history. The 31-year-old upper-echelon fantasy contributor is prone to the occasional blow-up, but he’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in 13 of his 16 outings this season.
