• George Springer finds power stroke in win
George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out. • Anthony Santander stays hot with another homer
Anthony Santander slugged a solo homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Santander went deep off Guardians reliever Sam Hentges in the eighth inning of this one. He’s homered 12 times since the start of June and is up to 21 round-trippers on the year already. The 29-year-old’s batting average remains palatable and he remains a pretty strong three-category, power plus counting stats impact fantasy contributor. Rotoworld Today, 6:27 pm

  • Riley Greene leads Tigers to win over Phillies
Riley Greene hit an RBI triple on Tuesday, propelling the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Greene capped off Detroit’s four-run outburst in the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple to right field off Phillies starter Ranger Suárez. It wound up being his lone hit during a low-scoring affair at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. The 23-year-old former top prospect has managed to stay healthy and finally make the leap to upper-echelon fantasy contributor status this season with an .850 OPS to go along with 50 runs scored, 15 homers, 41 RBI and four steals through 78 contests. • Henry Davis (concussion) starting rehab assignment
Henry Davis (concussion) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Wednesday with Double-A Altoona.

Advice: Davis landed on the concussion injured list back on June 15 and is apparently feeling well enough to get back into game action. The 24-year-old former top prospect will probably only need a handful of rehab contests to get back up to speed before returning to Pittsburgh. Rotoworld Today, 4:46 pm

  • On bench against lefty
Butler is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Butler started the previous five games but will take a seat Tuesday after going 3-for-17 with eight strikeouts during that span. Daz Cameron will man right field against Angels southpaw Tyler Anderson. Rotowire.com Today, 3:58 pm
  • Beginning assignment Wednesday
Davis (concussion) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona on Wednesday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Davis has been on the 7-day concussion IL since June 15, and Wednesday will be the first time he's played in any sort of game since then. The Pirates haven't indicated how long the 24-year-old's assignment might last, though it's possible he remains in the minors upon being activated after slashing just .153/.267/.235 across 101 major-league plate appearances this season. • Sitting Tuesday
Slater isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and an RBI during Monday's game, Slater will get a day to regroup Tuesday while Luis Matos starts in right field, batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 3:42 pm
  • Sitting against southpaw
Peralta isn't in the Padres' lineup for Tuesday's game against Washington.

Advice: Left-hander MacKenzie Gore will start on the mound for the Nationals, so the lefty-hitting Peralta will take a seat on the bench to begin Tuesday's contest. His absence will open up a spot for Bryce Johnson to start in right field while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 3:19 pm
  • Taking seat Tuesday
Marsh is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Detroit.

Advice: Lefty Tarik Skubal is taking the mound for the Tigers, so Marsh will start Tuesday's contests on the bench. Cristian Pache will man center field and bat eighth while Whit Merrifield starts in left field. Rotowire.com Today, 3:15 pm
