  • Belts 11th homer
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in a 9-2 win against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Olson was part of a big fifth inning for Atlanta, swatting the team's third and final homer in the frame. The first baseman extended his hitting streak to nine contests, a stretch during which he is batting .361 (13-for-26) with two home runs and five RBI. Olson's 11 homers are second-most on Atlanta but are well off the pace of the 54 long balls he belted last season. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago

  • Cranks three-run homer
Riley went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks in Saturday's 9-2 victory against the Rays.

Advice: Riley broke the game open in the seventh frame with his three-run shot to center field that gave Atlanta an 8-1 lead. It was the second straight contest with a long ball for the third baseman following a 23-game homerless stretch (and a 45-game span during which he went deep only once). Riley may finally be getting his power on track, but with just five long balls through 233 plate appearances, he'll be hard-pressed to reach 30 homers for the fourth straight season. • Jake Cave triples, plates three in blowout win
Jake Cave went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI in a blowout win for the Rockies on Saturday over the Pirates.

Advice: Cave doubled in two in the fourth off Jared Jones, and singled in another run in the seventh. The triple was the third of the season for the speedy 31-year-old outfielder. Rotoworld Today, 8:58 pm

  • Toglia hits grand slam as Rockies clobber Pirates
Michael Toglia hit a grand slam in a blowout victory for the Rockies over the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Toglia turned a comfortable lead of 11-4 into a certified blowout with his grand slam off Dennis Santana. It’s the second time he’s cleared the bases and made it home on the same play in 2024, but the other one was a Little League slam against the Cardinals. Toglia has been awful thus far in his MLB career, and isn’t likely to have too many efforts like this even playing his home games in Colorado. Rotoworld Today, 8:58 pm

  • Strong showing in win
Rojas went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, three RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Rojas went 2-for-27 (.074) over his previous 10 games before breaking out of the slump in a big way. He hit a solo shot in the seventh inning and a two-run single in the eighth, providing the Mariners with enough of a cushion to survive the Rangers' late comeback. The homer was Rojas' first since April 28 and his fourth of the season to go with 15 RBI, 26 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .263/.336/.395 slash line over 61 contests. He continues to play in a strong-side platoon role at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 8:57 pm

  • Hunter Goodman homers twice, drives in five
Hunter Goodman homered twice, picked up four hits and drove in five runs in a 16-4 shellacking of the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Goodman also scored three runs in a monster game for the 24-year-old. There haven’t been many for the infielder/backstop, but he showed off his impressive raw power with a pair of homers to center; one a solo shot and the other a two-run blast. Even with the big effort Goodman is only hitting .203/.247/.449, but that pop and his friendly home confines certainly make him a name to keep an eye on. Rotoworld Today, 8:57 pm

  • Goes deep in win
Vierling went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-5 win over the Astros.

Advice: Vierling has homered twice over his last four contests, though both were solo shots that represent his only RBI since May 29. The outfielder is batting a modest .196 (10-for-51) over 12 contests in June, though he's still often hitting in the top third of the Tigers' lineup. Vierling is at a .266/.305/.468 slash line with nine homers, 30 RBI, 30 runs scored, nine doubles, four triples and no stolen bases through 63 games this year. Rotowire.com Today, 8:29 pm
