    Walker went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a two-RBI double and an additional run scored during Sunday's 12-5 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Walker slugged his fourth home run of the last five games, taking Drew Thorpe yard in the first inning. The first baseman didn't stop there, adding a single off Thorpe in the third and plating Geraldo Perdomo and Corbin Carroll with a fourth-inning double for Walker's first three-hit game since April 30.   • Christian Walker goes deep as Diamondbacks win big
    Christian Walker went 3-for-5 with a homer, double and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, leading the Diamondbacks in a 12-5 rout of the White Sox.

    Advice: Walker tagged rookie right-hander Drew Thorpe for a mammoth 432-foot (110.4 mph EV) solo shot in the opening inning that increased the Diamondbacks’ lead to 3-0. He then added a two-run double in the fourth inning that made it a 7-1 ballgame.     Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

    Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games.   • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
    Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

    Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.     Advice: Vierling has homered twice over his last four contests, though both were solo shots that represent his only RBI since May 29. The outfielder is batting a modest .196 (10-for-51) over 12 contests in June, though he's still often hitting in the top third of the Tigers' lineup.     Walker went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Thursday's 11-1 win over the Angels.

    Advice: Walker told Steve Gilbert of MLB.com that he was not happy with how he was handling fastballs, so he put in extra work in the batting cage this week. It paid off immediately when Walker belted a three-run homer off a four-seamer in the first inning to give Arizona a 3-0 lead. "I've been missing fastballs [and fouling them] straight back a little bit and it's been bothering me," Walker said. He followed that up with a solo shot in the third -- a slider this time.     Christian Walker plated four runs while homering twice in a blowout victory over the Angels on Thursday.

    Advice: Walker made it 3-0 Diamondbacks in the first inning with his roundtripper off Griffin Canning with a pair of runners on. His second homer of the game came in the third inning, and it traveled an estimated 464 feet. That’s fair.
