• McCormick drives in two in win over Rockies
Chas McCormick went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rockies.

Advice: McCormick’s two-RBI single in the first capped off a five-run inning for the Astros, who sent all nine batters to the plate against embattled starter Austin Gomber. McCormick also picked up a steal on the night, his fifth of the season, but is slashing a meager .250/.262/.575 on the month. Rotoworld Today, 8:04 pm

  • Leads offense in win
Ibanez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Ibanez continued a strong June, as he's now batting .314 this month with six RBI and six runs scored across 15 games. The utility player is batting a solid .284 overall, and while he's not providing a ton of power, he has been a solid bat for the Tigers. Ibanez's biggest question moving forward is playing time, though Detroit figures to find creative ways to get him into the lineup even if he's not locked into a regular starting role. • Brendan Rodgers drives in one in loss to Astros
Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rodgers was responsible for two of the Rockies’ six hits on the night and drove in their only run when he plated Brenton Doyle in the eighth inning. Rodgers pushed his hitting streak to eight games in this one and is now slashing a sizzling .353/.343/.676 on the month with seven extra-base hits and nine RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:58 pm

  • Swipes two bases Tuesday
Kreidler went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies. He also stole two bases.

Advice: Kreidler stole the first two bases of his MLB career in the seventh inning, when he swiped second base then stole third a short while later. The 26-year-old has mostly been a bench player in the majors, so while this effort was promising, it looks to be an outlier. Zach McKinstry figures to get most of the playing time at shortstop in the near future with Javier Baez (back) still on the injured list, pushing Kreidler to a reserve role most days. • Nick Gordon scores game-winning run vs. Royals
Nick Gordon went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Gordon’s RBI single in the seventh inning tied the game at 1-1, giving the Marlins life after being shut down by Seth Lugo for six innings. Gordon’s single paved the way for him to later score on an RBI single by Jazz Chisholm, which was enough for the Marlins to earn a surprise win over the Royals. Rotoworld Today, 7:48 pm

  • Harrison Bader has two hits, HR in win
Harrison Bader went 2-for-4 with a home run, a steal, and two runs scored in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Bader’s home run was a 419-foot shot for his fifth of the season, and the stolen base was his 11th of the year. Bader has been playing regularly as the Mets’ starting center fielder and should continue to see regular at-bats with Starling Marte now out for at least a month. Bader is hitting .272 on the year and has always had enough power and speed to be fantasy-relevant when healthy. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 pm

  • Big Ben Rortvedt has four RBI in win
Ben Rortvedt went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in an 11-3 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Advice: Rortvedt’s home run came in a one-run game in the sixth inning and broke the game open for the Rays. It traveled 392 feet at 103.7 mph and was the catcher’s third home run of the season. Rortvedt is slashing a solid .274/.369/.390 on the season and is now 15-for-45 (.333) in June with three home runs and 14 RBI in 14 games. He plays four or five games a week for the Rays and is slowly pushing his way onto the radar in one-catcher leagues and needs to be rostered in all two-catcher formats. Rotoworld Today, 6:42 pm

  • Ty France has two hits, HR in loss
Ty France went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: France had a 98 mph single in the third inning and then followed that up with a 105 mph home run that traveled 427 feet in the fifth inning. It was his eighth home run on the season to go along with 29 RBI. France famously went to Driveline this offseason to try to find his power swing and while the results weren’t immediate, he had been showcasing improved power before going on the IL with a fractured heel. It’s not to see that the power stroke has come off the IL with him. Rotoworld Today, 6:34 pm

  • Getting day off against lefty
Benintendi is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Benintendi and fellow left-handed hitters Gavin Sheets and Nicky Lopez will hit the bench as the White Sox go with an all-right-handed-hitting lineup versus Dodgers southpaw James Paxton. Corey Julks will replace Benintendi in left field and will bat seventh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:32 pm
