    Rowdy Tellez went 3-for-5 with two RBI as the Pirates topped the Rockies 8-2 on Sunday.

    Advice: Tellez is up to .419 with nine RBI in just 31 at-bats this month. There still isn’t really any mixed-league value here, but it should be quite a while before he’s again left out of the Pirates lineup against a right-hander. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    Luis Rengifo was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion after being hit by a batted ball during Sunday’s contest against the Giants.

    Advice: Presumably, he has already undergone imaging that ruled out any fractures, but the announcement from the Angels was simply that he was dealing with a left wrist contusion. It sounds like Rengifo was fortunate to have avoided any more serious injury, but his status should still be monitored over the next few days to be on the safe side. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

  • Luis Rengifo leaves game with wrist injury Sunday
    Luis Rengifo was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Giants after injuring his left wrist in the fourth inning.

    Advice: A hard-hit ball off the bat of Matt Chapman deflected off of Rengifo’s wrist at third base and he immediately went down in pain. He’ll head for imaging to see if there’s any damage structurally. The Angels should have an update on the dynamic 27-year-old infielder’s status after the game. Stay tuned. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago

  • Homers, drives in five
    Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

    Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he only had five hits and one RBI over his last eight games. The 29-year-old's 15 home runs are tied for fifth most in the National League, he'll carry a .232/.310/.461 slash line into their next series vs the Rangers. Rotowire.com Today, 2:38 pm
     
  • De La Cruz homers, steals base in loss Sunday
    Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored, a solo home run, a triple and a stolen base against the Brewers on Sunday.

    Advice: De La Cruz filled up the box score on Sunday. The home run was his 12th of the season and the stolen base was his 36th. He’s hitting .235, but he’s been the most explosive player in fantasy this year. Rotoworld Today, 2:27 pm
     
  • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
    Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

    Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.   • Luis Arraez with two more hits Sunday
    Luis Arraez went 2-for-5 with a double on Sunday against the Mets.

    Advice: Arraez was on point in this one. All five of his balls in play were hit at least 95 MPH and he continues to be an engine atop the Padres’ order. His batting average is up to .326 which is best in the National League among qualified players. Rotoworld Today, 2:14 pm

  • Lewis blasts sixth home run in win Sunday
    Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.



    Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.
