• Giants activate Kyle Harrison for Saturday start
Giants activated LHP Kyle Harrison from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Harrison draws the starting assignment for Saturday’s showdown against the Guardians following a nearly three-week absence due to a sprained right ankle. The 22-year-old southpaw has struggled to miss bats this season at the highest level, but still holds a respectable 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 68/22 K/BB ratio across 77 1/3 innings (14 starts). • Activated off IL, starting Saturday
Harrison (ankle) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Saturday against the Guardians, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Harrison landed on the injured list June 16 with a right ankle sprain. He was able to forego a rehab assignment, and he isn't expected to face any restrictions in his return to the Giants' rotation Saturday. Through 14 starts this season, Harrison is 4-3 with a 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 68:22 K:BB over 77.1 innings. To make room for the 22-year-old southpaw, right-hander Spencer Bivens was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento. Rotowire.com Today, 10:12 am
  • Kyle Tucker (shin) resumes jogging on Friday
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters that Kyle Tucker (shin) resumed jogging on Friday.

Advice: Tucker, who has been out since early June due to a right shin bruise, was able to resume hitting a couple weeks ago, and has finally resumed running again. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t going to make it back until after the upcoming Midsummer Classic, but it sounds like he’s finally starting to make some actual progress in his recovery. We don’t want to speculate wildly, but it seems like Tucker was recovering from something more serious than a mere contusion, but there’s been nothing official from the club on that front. • Clubs 22nd homer
Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: The veteran slugger got hold of a 98.4 mph two-seamer from Jose Alvarado in the eighth inning, driving it 409 feet over the fence in right field. Ozuna snapped an 11-game homer drought with the blast -- tied for his longest dry spell of the year -- and while he has slowed down after a blistering start to the season, he's still slashing .296/.377/.560 through 86 contests with 22 homers and 70 RBI, with the latter mark tying him for the NL lead with Alec Bohm. • Not starting Saturday
Wong isn't in Boston's lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: After putting together a 17-game hitting streak, Wong has gone 0-for-7 with three strikeouts over his last two games. He'll get a breather Saturday while Reese McGuire starts behind the dish, batting seventh. Rotowire.com Today, 7:19 am

  • Finishes off Yankees
Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 5-3 extra-inning win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rafaela put the final touch on the Yankees, as the Red Sox hit two-run home runs in the ninth and 10th innings to steal a win at Yankee Stadium. It was the 10th homer for Rafaela, whose slow start to the season is in the past. The young outfielder/shortstop is batting .348/.375/.522 with five doubles, a triple, three home runs, 16 RBI and three steals over the last 24 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 am

  • Hit streak reaches double digits
Seager went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 3-0 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: Seager lashed a two-run double in the third inning then came around to score on a Nathaniel Lowe single. The double extended Seager's hit streak to 10 games, during which he's 13-for-38 (.342) with five doubles, a home run, five RBI and five additional runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:05 am

  • Second straight poor start
Glasnow allowed five runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: All of the damage came in the fourth inning between a Willy Adames RBI single and a Rhys Hoskins grand slam. Glasnow has allowed five runs in back-to-back starts, though he's avoided the loss in both of those outings. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB through 109 innings over 18 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit rather than Philadelphia due to the Dodgers inserting Justin Wrobleski into the rotation for a spot start Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
  • Ceddanne Rafaela homers in 10th to lead Red Sox
After Masataka Yoshida’s homer tied it in the ninth, Ceddanne Rafaela hit a two-run homer in the 10th to propel the Red Sox past the Yankees 5-3 on Friday.

Advice: Yoshida hit a game-tying homer off Clay Holmes, and Rafaela followed with a go-ahead blast off Tommy Kahnle in the 10th. It was Rafaela’s 10th homer, which is impressive for a 23-year-old with such middling exit velocity numbers. Better plate discipline would be nice, but since Rafaela has proved adept at shortstop and in center field, he seems like a long to become a long-term regular. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:58 pm
