    Advice: Abreu was back in the lineup for the first time in a month and hit eighth while playing first base. He had a rough start to the game defensively, misplaying a line drive off the bat of J.P. Crawford. However, Abreu made up for that with an RBI single in the fifth frame. The Astros seemingly plan to give Abreu regular run at first base, though he'll still need to outperform Jon Singleton unless they're willing to play Yordan Alvarez more regularly in left field at the expense of Chas McCormick.     Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases in Monday's 3-2 victory over Houston.

    Advice: Rodriguez scored Seattle's second run in the first inning and padded his stat line with a pair of steals in the seventh. The star outfielder has four thefts over his past two contests following a 16-game stretch without any steals from May 9 to May 25. Though he's been pretty quiet with a .265/.309/.342 slash line on the season, Rodriguez has built some momentum in going 6-for-13 with two homers, five RBI, four runs and four stolen bases over his past three games.     The Astros recalled Abreu from Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: The Astros sent Abreu to the minors in late April following a disastrous .099/.156/.113 start to the season with the hope that he could rediscover his swing. He went 7-for-22 with two doubles, one home run and three RBI across five games with the Florida Complex League Astros before going hitless in two games with Sugar Land.     Advice: Abreu was deemed ready to return after going 0-for-7 with three strikeouts and one walk in two Triple-A games. Maybe he’ll be OK for the Astros, but it’s hard to see him being much better than that, given how he’s performed since the start of 2023 (.221/.280/.352 in 671 PA).     Advice: It’s a routine day off for Stott, which was a decision made easier by the Giants starting left-hander Blake Snell. Edmundo Sosa will move up to sixth in the lineup while Whit Merrifield will play second base and hit seventh. He's added a .262/.336/.355 slash line with three home runs, 15 RBI and 14 runs scored over 122 plate appearances this season. Dairon Blanco will start in his place on Monday, and if the Royals ever decided to give Blanco regular playing time over Isbel, his speed would be a major difference-maker in fantasy leagues.
