      Nick Lodolo allowed four runs on four hits in five innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

      Advice: It wasn’t all bad for Lodolo, who struck out six and walked two while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 31 percent CSW. Lodolo struggled out of the gates, allowing three runs on three hits in the first inning before settling down.       Miller didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Astros, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Miller kept a clean sheet through five innings before surrendering a two-run home run to Kyle Tucker in the sixth and a two-run shot to Jon Singleton in the seventh -- a long ball that got Miller pulled. The outing marked Miller's third time allowing multiple homers this season and his three strikeouts were a season low. Through 41.1 innings, Miller owns a 2.61 ERA and a 42:13 K:BB.       Cortes did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk over 6.1 innings against the Tigers. He struck out nine.

      Advice: Cortes matched a season high with nine strikeouts, as he allowed only four baserunners in the contest. Cortes shut out the Tigers through six but was pulled with one out in the seventh after allowing two base hits in the inning. Both runners eventually came around to score, tying the game and ending Cortes' bid to earn his second win. It was the fourth quality start in eight games for Cortes, who lowered his ERA to 3.72 with a 1.03 WHIP and 46 strikeouts through 48.1 innings.       Advice: The crafty 29-year-old southpaw piled up nine strikeouts on a rainy afternoon in the Bronx while allowing just one base on balls. He kept the Tigers off the board completely through the first six innings, but he allowed a pair of singles before departing in the seventh — and both runners came around to score against the Yankees’ bullpen.
