Clase has eight saves in June and leads the American League with 25 total saves in what has been an amazing 2024 campaign. With this scoreless performance, Lugo collected his third straight quality start and lowered his June ERA to 3.69 over 31.2 innings with a 29:8 K:BB.       Seth Lugo pitched six scoreless innings while striking out eight in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: Lugo allowed just two hits and four total baserunners on the night, doing his part to stifle a Marlins lineup that hasn’t struck fear in too many pitchers this season. Unfortunately for Lugo, the slim 1-0 lead he exited with was last in the seventh inning when reliever Carlos Hernández allowed an RBI single to Nick Gordon to tie the game. India has also been leading off since TJ Friedl went on the IL, which is more good news for his fantasy value.       Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Vlad Jr. drove in two on a double in the third inning and then drove in two more on another double in the fourth inning. He now has 40 RBI on the season and has been far and away the Blue Jays’ best hitter this season. He also made two bad errors in the field, but that doesn’t count for most fantasy leagues.       Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Orioles to record his 25th save of the season.

      Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning at Camden Yards and managed to work around a one-out double from pinch-hitter Cedric Mullins to notch another save.
