    • Four-hit game Saturday
Chapman went 4-for-4 with a walk and four runs scored in Saturday's 14-4 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Chapman doubled and singled twice and also stole his fifth base of the season as he filled the stat sheet. The veteran third baseman had three hits and a steal in Friday's contest, as well, so perhaps he's finally starting to turn the corner. Chapman had been demoted to as low as seventh in the Giants' batting order earlier this month, but he's hit cleanup for the last two games. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Stays hot with six-RBI day
Matos went 3-for-5 with a home run and six RBI in Saturday's 14-4 victory over the Rockies.

Advice: Matos drove in a career-high five runs in Friday's series opener and then one-upped himself Saturday. He got the scoring going in this one with a two-out, three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. The youngster then followed that with an RBI double in his next trip to the dish before capping off his night with a two-RBI single. Matos is just the fourth Giants player ever to notch consecutive five-RBI games, and he has tallied a whopping 17 RBI in seven contests since being recalled. While he had just a .661 OPS with the Giants last season and a .663 OPS this year at Triple-A Sacramento, keep in mind that Matos is a former top prospect who just turn 22 in January. At the very least, he's become a guy who needs to be rostered in five-outfielder leagues. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago

    • Likely option to be called up
Knack is no longer listed as Triple-A Oklahoma City's starter Saturday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Not coincidentally, the Dodgers don't have a starter listed for Sunday against the Reds, with manager Dave Roberts saying recalling Knack was one of the options they were considering. It would appear he's the guy they've settled on, whether it's as a traditionally starter or perhaps a bulk reliever. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago

    • Gets cortisone shot for shoulder
Cobb was given another cortisone injection to combat his injured right shoulder, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Cobb began the season on the injured list while he continued to recover from hip surgery, but it's been elbow and shoulder issues since then that have plagued him. This is the second cortisone shot he's been given for his shoulder, and the hope is that it will be more effective than the first one. Cobb will be shut down for a bit and his timetable to return is open-ended. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago

    • Bell drives in four on Saturday
Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Bell blasted a game-tying three run home run in the ninth inning off the Mets’ Edwin Diaz. It was his sixth home run of the season. It was a good game, but Bell isn’t having a good season. Even with the home run, his .137 ISO is the lowest of his career. His average is .229, but that should pick up a bit as his BABIP is .258 this year compared to his career .286 BABIP. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago

    • McNeil has two hits Saturday
Jeff McNeil went 2-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI, a walk and a stolen base against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: McNeil gave the Mets a sizable lead as his two-run single made it a 7-2 game in the fifth inning. It was a good game from the former batting champion, but he’s having a brutal season so far with a .239 average and only one home run.

    • Vientos has two-hit game Saturday
Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and an RBI against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Vientos had an RBI single in the first inning and later scored on a Harrison Bader single. He has started back-to-back games, but he’s in a platoon with the left-handed Brett Baty at third base. Neither one is more than a deep league option as long as they continue to share playing time.

    • Landon Knack expected to start for Dodgers Sunday
Landon Knack is expected to start for the Dodgers in Sunday’s series finale against the Reds.

Advice: Dodgers’ skipper had mentioned recalling Knack from Triple-A Oklahoma City as one option on Sunday, and now that Knack has been scratched from his scheduled start at Triple-A, the writing is on the wall. Expect him to work the first four or five innings before turning the game over to the Dodgers’ deep and talented bullpen. Rotoworld Today, 4:19 pm

    • Roughed up in San Fran
Blach (1-2) took the loss Saturday in San Francisco, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk over three innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The Giants tallied 18 hits and 14 runs in this one, with Blach and reliever Nick Mears (six runs in two-thirds of an inning) absorbing the big blows. Blach was given another start after holding the Rangers to one run over five innings his last time out, but he might be headed back to long relief after this effort. If he does get another turn, it would likely come next week at home versus the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 4:12 pm
