    • Brandon Lowe goes deep as Rays defeat Royals
Brandon Lowe socked his seventh dinger of the season on Tuesday night, helping to power the Rays to a 5-1 victory over the Royals in Kansas City.

Advice: Lowe drew a two-out walk off of Chris Stratton in the seventh inning then raced around to score on a two-run double by Isaac Paredes. He then capped off the scoring in the ballgame as he walloped a 433-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Nick Anderson to lead off the ninth inning. It’s been a rough season at the dish for Lowe in-between stints on the injured list — slashing .220/.322/.455 with seven homers, 24 RBI and one stolen base in 143 plate appearances. • Continues crushing Milwaukee
Doyle went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo homer, a walk and an additional RBI during Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: The 26-year-old opened the series with two homers Monday and followed up with two more extra-base hits in Tuesday's contest. Doyle went 5-for-40 over the final 10 games of June but has quickly turned things around after the calendar flipped to July. He's now tied last season's total of 10 home runs and has a .264/.328/.424 slash line with 32 RBI, 49 runs and 20 steals through 81 games. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Richie Palacios collects three hits in win Tuesday
Richie Palacios went 3-for-4 with a double, stolen base and an RBI as the Rays defeated the Royals in Kansas City.

Advice: The speedy 27-year-old outfielder reached on an infield single off of Brady Singer in the second inning, advanced to third on a double by Jose Siri and scampered home with the game’s first run on a wild pitch. Palacios also drove in a run with a two-out RBI double off of John Schreiber in the sixth inning. With his three-hit night, Palacios is now slashing .251/.354/.348 with four homers, 18 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 239 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • Plates four in loss
Schanuel went 2-for-4 with a double, four RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Schanuel has hit safely in seven straight games, logging multiple hits in five of them. He's also scored a run in five consecutive contests, though he'd produced just one RBI over his previous 10 games before powering the Angels' offense Tuesday. The first baseman is up to a .239/.311/.355 slash line with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 30 runs scored, eight doubles and two stolen bases over 76 contests this season, mainly playing out of the leadoff spot. • Scores three runs in return
Drury went 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Drury missed nine straight games due to an illness before appearing off the bench Sunday versus the Tigers. This was his first start since June 21, and he played the full game at second base. The infielder has struggled this year, slashing .175/.246/.237 with one home run, six RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases over 126 plate appearances. Drury will likely occupy a starting role at the keystone going forward, though Luis Guillorme is also in the mix there. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago

    • Logs steal in win
Schuemann went 1-for-2 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Schuemann has a steal in two of his last three games, though he's hitting a meager .149 (7-for-47) over his last 15 contests. He's maintained a starting role at shortstop, though his .227/.316/.315 slash line for the year is far from impressive. He's added three home runs, 15 RBI, 26 runs scored and six thefts across 63 games. Armando Alvarez is Schuemann's biggest threat for playing time until Darell Hernaiz (ankle) can return, which is likely to be after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Powers offense Tuesday
Butler went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and additional run scored in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: This was Butler's first multi-hit effort in 12 contests since he was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas. He's gone 7-for-32 (.219) in that span, adding 12 strikeouts and no walks. The outfielder is at a .188/.266/.297 slash line with three homers, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored and four stolen bases through 154 plate appearances this season. Butler is sharing right field with Daz Cameron, though the lefty-hitting Butler has lost out on some starts versus right-handed pitchers. Rotowire.com 31 minutes ago

    • Homer, steal in win
Rooker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Rooker has hit safely in six of his last seven games, going 8-for-26 (.308) with three homers in that span. He offers more power than speed -- with Tuesday's performance, he has 16 long balls and three steals across 72 contests this year. The 29-year-old has added a .261/.338/.515 slash line with 48 RBI, 30 runs scored, 15 doubles and two triples as the Athletics' top designated hitter. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Josh Rojas has two hits in loss to Orioles Tuesday
Josh Rojas went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles on Tuesday night as the Mariners were shut out by the Orioles.

Advice: Rojas became the Mariners’ first baserunner in the game as he smacked a two-out single to center off of Grayson Rodriguez in the third inning. The 30-year-old infielder also led off the sixth inning with a single but was ultimately stranded at third base. Those two hits would wind up being the Mariners’ only hits in the ballgame. For the season, Rojas is slashing .260/.326/.383 with four homers, 16 RBI and six stolen bases. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago
