      Advice: The Colorado righty failed to find the strike zone as his five free passes matched a season worst previously reached April 13 and June 16. Hudson finishes off a poor June, during which he made five starts, going 0-4 with a 7.77 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 13:14 K:BB across 24.1 innings. Things don't get much easier for him as he's currently scheduled to face the Brewers -- a team collectively sporting a 113 wRC+ against righties -- at home in his next outing.       Advice: Pallante worked around a few jams to keep the Reds off the board. The Cardinals would go on to win 1-0, so his scoreless performance was much-needed. Since moving into the starting rotation, Pallante has produced a 3.86 ERA with a 25:13 K:BB in six starts. His season ERA dropped to 4.50 through 38 innings.       Advice: Suarez was efficient, needing just 87 pitches to toss his first quality start of the season. The righty generated only six swinging strikes, but this was a huge bounceback after he had allowed eight earned runs over his previous two outings.       Advice: Pruitt has been on the injured list since late April due to a right meniscus injury, and he's now been given the go-ahead to begin playing in games. The Rangers haven't provided any details regarding the planned duration of Pruitt's rehab stint, but he'll likely need to make a few appearances with a minor-league affiliate before coming off the injured list.       Yusei Kikuchi lasted five-plus innings on Friday against the Yankees. He allowed four earned runs, struck out seven, and walked one in a loss.

      Advice: Kikuchi was cruising to the highest degree of the word through the first five innings. He had seven punch outs, faced two batters over the minimum, and the Yankees only run came from a run-down. Then, Juan Soto clobbered a three-run home run to spoil his great night.       Perez (1-4) took the loss Friday versus Atlanta, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks over four innings with four strikeouts.

      Advice: The 33-year-old veteran looked rusty in his return from the injured list after leaving a May 26 start -- coincidentally, also against Atlanta -- with a groin injury. Perez managed to last 92 pitches, finding the zone with only 39.1 percent of them, down significantly from his previous season average of 54.8 percent. The Pittsburgh southpaw's ERA now stands at 5.28 across 61.1 innings. He looks to bounce back in his next start, currently scheduled to be against the Cardinals at home.       Advice: Quintana has struck out 15 batters in his last two starts. He’s also been throwing far more curveballs over his last two starts, 33% and 23% respectively after throwing it under 20% of the time so far this season.
